We hired the Ashmore Brothers to provide the music for our wedding at Ufton Court in Reading in July 2024. My wife and I definitely feel this is one of the best decisions we made about the arrangements for the day.
One of the biggest compliments I can pay them is that when we got engaged, one of the decisions that didn’t even need thinking about was who I was going to hire for the music as I had been to three other weddings where they had performed previously. In a similar way, three or four people who attending our wedding day have already asked for their details and are thinking about using them in the future!
Most of the upfront discussions took place over email with Liam who was always very quick to reply, clear and friendly. We went for the most comprehensive package which was also a straightforward choice because the quality of their work meant that I wanted them there for the maximum amount of time. The questionnaire we completed with our choices was comprehensive so I knew exactly what they were going to do on the day and there was flexibility with options. Liam gave helpful advice where it was needed without being brash or overbearing. There was some confusion with the caterer about what food they were going to serve the suppliers on the day and I had been worried about upsetting them when I had to inform them but Liam’s response made me feel so much better as he quickly reassured me it wasn’t any problem.
Whilst the band are all really talented musicians and that was the main reason for hiring them, an added bonus on the day was learning that they are all friendly and warm people who clearly have a great passion and enjoyment doing what they do. The band were getting set up when I arrived and as a bit of a control freak, I was keen to check in with them and ensure all arrangements were in place. A quick chat with them put me completely at ease. Everything ran perfectly smoothly through the day and its obvious that they are experienced and highly competent.
A few extra nice touches through the day included playing Three Lions (England had beaten Switzerland on penalties in the Euros a few hours earlier), a repertoire to keep the younger children at our wedding happy including Baby Shark and a 20 minute conversation I got to have with them in the evening when they were on a break between sets - I honestly had to force myself to walk away to socialise with other guests as I could easily have spent longer chatting away with them!

Fantastic service from Liam from start to finish. He was always quick to respond to any questions regarding our booking and was very friendly and professional. We booked The Squires for our wedding last month at Moat Hall barns in Shrewsbury and they were BRILLIANT! Lots of people commented on how great they sounded, they got all the guests up on the dance floor and played a great mix of songs to suit everyone! The gents were also very polite and approachable which is always a bonus.

The Song Pilots were an absolute delight at our wedding. They fitted the vibe of the day so well and the music choices were brilliant. All of our wedding guests have said the band were one of the highlights of the day - they were great at encouraging our conga line to The Proclaimers! So so so happy to have the chaps as a part of our day! 100% recommend! Mary and Michael.

Liam, Matt & Rich were absolutely fabulous! Cant express enough how much fun we all had with these guys playing. Everyone of the guests who I spoke to was like wow.. this band is incredible! And to top it off, besides being excellent performers they are just super nice, friendly guys. Honestly cant recommend them highly enough to the point where we are already thinking how can we put together another celebration just so we can invite these guys again!

We booked the Song Pilots through Ashmore Music for my daughter's wedding at Bassmead Manor Barns, St Neots. The admin as simple, the band arrived as and when expected, they were really friendly and helpful, and the music was superb throughout. It’s genuinely difficult to put into words how outstanding The Ashmore Brothers have been throughout the entirety of having them perform at our wedding.

For a start, the ease, communication, price and overall experience of booking the band was excellently handled. Liam was at the end of the phone whenever I had questions or requests.

And the evening itself. Wow. These boys are absolutely phenomenal. They made our wedding party impossible to forget for everyone that came, as the experience was beyond anything I was expecting. They had the place absolutely bouncing all night. They played all the perfect songs and all at the perfect time, and the performance was just exceptional. I can’t thank the boys enough, and to top it all off, they had myself and my new wife Alice up on stage to join them for a couple of tracks.

To make it easier for those looking to book them, they simply made my perfect day even more perfect.

Hope to see you gents again as you’ll be getting another booking of our lot without a doubt.

Wow! The Ashmore Brothers are amazing!! We recently had them play for our evening reception on the 14th May at The Ashes Barns, and they were incredible! Prior to our wedding we had never seen The Ashmore Brothers play, we had come across them on the recommended page by the venue, and only heard a couple of videos from their social media/ website, and liked what we heard so thought we’d go ahead. From start to finish, Liam (main contact) was excellent with communication and always responded quickly and in a friendly manner, answering any questions we had. Then on the day of the wedding they all arrived looking very smart in suits and set up very smoothly, all congratulating us as newlyweds! We had the band play our first dance (amazed - lonestar) and they were just incredible! Coordinating everyone to come to the dance floor and then inviting them to join us part way through as requested! They then went into their first set and wow they did not disappoint! They were amazing! Vocals and music was insane! They got everyone up dancing and really got the party started! They interacted so well with the guests and even got my husband up to do some vocals to his surprise! During the sets they played songs through the sound system asking us in advance for any must have dj songs. Their live sets were excellent! All of our guests commented how good they were, stating they were ‘awesome and music was on point’. They played different style songs and really knew how to read the room, even had my grandad up dancing! I cannot recommend The Ashmore Brothers enough! Liam, Matt and Rich were all so friendly and I cannot thank them enough for being a part of our special day! If you’re looking for a live band to play at your wedding then these guys are the ones!

I saw The Song Pilots perform at a wedding venue on Instagram and knew straight away I wanted them to be our band. The booking process was easy and there were different packages to suit every wedding. The band were professional and their sets were amazing, the music in between their sets was also on point! Everyone was up dancing, even the oldies! Contact with Liam throughout the whole process made it stress free, which is always helpful when planning the biggest day of your life. We recently booked The Song Pilots for our wedding at Dodford Manor, and it was by far the highlight of the day! The dance floor was full the whole evening, and everybody commented on how brilliant the band was. They are such nice guys too, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Liam also made booking the band and sending over information so easy, and was always there when we had any questions. Thank you all so much! We wish we could do it all over again!

The song pilots performed at our wedding, they were awesome. Throughout the whole process Liam was great with communication and planning, then we couldn’t have asked for more from the guys on the day! 10/10 would highly recommend.

We originally came across The Ashmore Brothers at another wedding as guests and they were absolutely brilliant so naturally we thought that we have to have them aswell! Skip forward 1 year and it was time to book them for ourselves. The main contact I was in touch with throughout the booking process was Liam. we exchanged emails of what we wanted etc and he accommodated everything amazingly. Very friendly etc to chat with via email to make sure everything was perfect. Then onto the wedding day at Moor Hall Hotel, they arrived early and got set up where they would be playing, they were so smooth setting up etc that I didn't actually realise they had arrived! The music was absolutely brilliant and got everybody up on the dance floor from the first dance, which was also played absolutely beautifully. Really friendly, down to earth lads who can really play and sing amazingly. Do not miss the opportunity to have them for your special day. Liam, Matt and Rich, if you're reading this, thank you so much again! Everyone after the wedding were very complimentary toward the band and thought you were brilliant and rightly so. Thank you!

We hired The Song Pilots for our wedding at Sissons Barn in Peterborough and we are so glad they did! They were absolutely amazing all day and their evening sets were incredible! Our guests were on the dance floor all night, from straight after our first dance and everybody said how good they were and were sad when they had to stop! Would absolutely recommend The Song Pilots to anybody.

We had the best night with music provided by The Squires. The were absolutely fantastic. Constant banger after banger and great mashups as-well. Both James and Nathan Rocked and the dance-floor was full from start to finish. Thank-you for bringing the party!

This band is phenomenal. They really did put the icing on the cake for our special day at Dodford Manor. They sound great and really fitted in to our wedding vibe! Not to mention knowing the venue and just setting up without fuss. We even had guests dancing/singing at the sound check! Booking the Ashmore Brothers took the stress out of thinking about entertaining our guests and DJ planning, and they delivered 2 x outstanding sets on our perfect day. Although we can't remember most of the DJ sets (alcohol was definitely consumed), we enjoyed every second of the live performance and just didn't want it to end. An absolute must for any occasion, but especially if you want a perfect band for your perfect day. 7 Stars !!!

The Ashmore Brothers played our wedding on the 2nd of December and were amazing. They did sets during the reception drinks and the evening. Everyone loved them, and we are still getting compliments. They were really engaging with both children and adults, even letting one of our nephews play the drums! We would 100% recommend and would encourage people to also have Ben on sax!

We booked Ashmore Bros for our wedding at Tower Hill Barns last weekend and they were just FAB!
Would highly recommend, they got everyone up dancing and gave our evening do the best atmosphere we could have hoped for.

The Ashmore Bros played at my and my wife’s wedding last weekend and were absolutely fantastic! We booked The Squires for our wedding at Foxtail Barns this summer.
They were amazing! All our guests loved them, from the acoustic music set during the drinks reception and live music in the evening. They had all our guests dancing all night. Took requests for the type of music our guests wanted to listen to and it was fantastic, everyone loved to tell us when their song was played.
The Ashmore Brothers were fantastic from the start, helping plan the music for the day so perfectly. Making it so easy for us to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted. Great and fast communication would definitely book again.
