Had a home car charger installed and the whole experience was fantastic from booking the appointment through to having the charger installed. Everyone I have spoken to have all been very helpful, friendly and professional and the installation was fantastic. Our engineer was Daniel Goldberg and he was fantastic, a very friendly and nice guy who explained where everything would be installed and made absolutely certain that we were happy where and how everything would be installed, walked my wife and I through how to use the app and even went to as far as to take a photo of the charger after it was installed for me to see as I was unable to get outside and thoroughly cleaned the work area at multiple points throughout the installation. We would highly recommend Ascent and Daniel to everyone.

From the outset, the company’s website and pre-installation survey proved straightforward and accessible, even for someone with limited knowledge of electrics. This user-friendly approach made the initial steps of the process hassle-free.
The customer service provided by Ascent Energy Services was both professional and approachable. Every query I had was addressed clearly and helpfully, ensuring I felt supported throughout the experience. The team’s ability to respond to my questions demonstrated their expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction.
One of the standout aspects was the speed of installation. I was offered a selection of dates within a week, which was remarkable compared to what friends had encountered with other companies, some of whom waited up to six months for installation. This swift scheduling greatly exceeded my expectations and proved to be a significant advantage.
On the day of installation, my electrician, Daniel Goldberg, was outstanding. He arrived punctually and conducted himself with the utmost professionalism. Daniel explained the installation process thoroughly and provided valuable advice regarding the optimal placement of the charger. His workmanship was exemplary.
Daniel was attentive to the aesthetics of my property, carefully concealing unnecessary cables from outside view and expertly passing cables through the external wall without causing any undue damage to the brickwork. Inside the garage, the cable layout was symmetric, and the placement of the electrical box was highly functional, avoiding any obstruction of space. The quality of his work was beyond excellent.
After completing the installation, Daniel ensured that both the garage and exterior of the property were left tidy. He took the time to provide a thorough explanation of how to use the charger, which was greatly appreciated. I am extremely grateful to Daniel for his exceptional assistance and to Ascent Energy Services for employing such outstanding staff.

Superb experience fitting EV charger in the garage requiring landscaping to run the cable underground, through the garage wall and across the rafters. Jason Goldberg snd his colleague were courteous, professional and efficient throughout, explaining everything that hsd been done and why. Everything left clean and tidy.

I had an EV charger installed this week, and in summery Dan went the extra mile and then some.
I was particularly specific (some might say awkward... 😀) about how I wanted the install, which didn't match what the original plan was. Dan spoke with his supervisor (thanks to him also!) and agreed a method that met my needs and the regulations. This was processed by the bookings team super quick (another shout out!), allowing Dan to start.
This led to a late start, but he was here till the (dark) end, did a fantastic job, excellent quality and was super polite through the whole installation.
Hats off to him, and a doff to the rest of the team! 5 🌟

Jason Goldberg installed my EV home charger and did an excellent job. Despite it being 1°c sleeting and windy, he worked throughout the awful conditions. He explained everything clearly, and made sure the installation was neat and fully tested before leaving. Highly recommended.

Jason Metcalfe installed my EV charger, I can honestly say he’s professional and friendly. The quality of the install surpassed my expectations. You can tell that Jason prides his self on his workmanship.

Dan arrived at the time he said. He come in checked where the earth wire was checked it then into the garage and fitter the charger. We’ve just had Dan fitting our EV Charger this morning. Really lovely guy, arrived on time and he also text his eta of arrival half hour before arriving to confirm which was really helpful. Dan explained everything to me, completed the installation, run through setting up the app and double checked all was working with the supplier before departing.

I am a wheelchair user so Dan took photos of the set up outside to show me and make sure I was happy which was a lovely touch.

Overall very impressed with Dan’s service and attention to detail. Thank you so much!!

The engineer was absolutely fantastic im a tradesman so it was easy to talk to him and have simular interests! Very tidy and very polite and patient! Great guy.

The work was done very well and efficiently by the installer, no problem there. The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is that at no point ohme or ascent mentioned that national grid might get in touch about required work following the EV charger installation. It's no big deal but receiving a fairly aggressively worded letter from national grid out of the blue saying that following our charger installation we have to get further work done or proceed to remove the charger was a bit strange. Again, no problem , we have scheduled that bit as well and it's fine, but a bit of warning would have been nice.

Very pleased with the neat and efficient installation of Cord Zero EV charger by Dan Goldberg. Nice guy and clearly wanted complete customer satisfaction. He got it here.

We are really pleased with Dan fitting our car charger, spending time to check exactly where we wanted it and even got into an awkward loft space to make sure the cable wasn’t on show. He was very polite and had great communication. Thank you!
