We feel lucky to have such an incredible facility with amazing doctors and staff so close to home! Our 13 year-old dog needed a splenectomy and a liver biopsy for abnormalities found at our regular Vet on ultrasound. From the moment we contacted ASC to our post op visit, it has been a great experience. Dr. Kam has a terrific bedside manner and explained everything in great detail. Our dog did very well and recovered nicely. The staff at ASC is friendly and very attentive. They were in constant communication with us while our dog was in the hospital.

Dr. Short and everyone at Oceanside were beyond helpful, caring and just genuinely kind throughout the entire TPLO surgery process. My dog, Sandy, has a lot of anxiety when it comes to any vet office. They treated her like she was their own baby, called me first thing to let me know Sandy would be the first surgery because she was so anxious and wanted to get her home to mommy as soon as it was safe to. Their compassion didn’t go unnoticed and their quick response every time I had a question was appreciated! We’re on week 5 of recovery and she is doing AMAZING! Thank you all, Sandy is lucky to have been in your care!!

Where do I even begin to praise and thank Dr. Infernuso and the staff at Animal Surgical Center. I brought my precious dog, Faith, to Dr. Infernuso for a surgery that other vets would not touch because of the difficulty, complications and complexities.
Dr. Infernuso was not at all deterred, and he assured me the surgery would be a success and well tolerated. Dr. Infernuso answered all my questions, I never felt rushed, and my frayed nerves were instantly soothed. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Dr. Infernuso is brilliant, compassionate, and kind. The professionalism, caring and kindness of the staff is immeasurable. Communication and accessibility to the doctors and staff was a breeze putting my mind at ease about Faith's condition and comfort. The doctor and staff communicated with status updates before, during and after the surgery (with phone calls AND photos of my precious girl). They continued to check on her well being four days after she was discharged from the hospital addressing any post-op questions or concerns. I was amazed and impressed at their level of competence, caring, patience and concern.
In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr. Infernuso is dedicated, devoted and committed to all aspects of animal welfare and rescue efforts.
Dr. Infernuso is a blessing and hero on so many levels to all pets and pet parents. He is truly an asset to the veterinary community.

Our second time dealing with Animal Surgical Center for surgery for our lab. It is always a pleasure dealing with a very friendly, caring and professional staff. Dr Infernuso is always a pleasure to deal with. He’s very friendly, caring and explains the procedure in detail. I will never go anywhere else!

I went to consultation for my 15 year old dog who a anal mass. I was very nervous and scared since he has a heart condition which thank god is not high risk for surgery. Dr. Infernuso examined him and explained the procedure which put my mind at ease. He answered my questions without any hesitation and reassured me that all well be good. He also worked with me in giving me a fair estimate which was a blessing. The day of the surgery came and I wasn’t as scared as before because I knew he was in great hands with Dr. Infernuso. When it was time for my fur baby to get the surgery they called me that he was being prepped and when it was over they will call me, which they did with great news that all went well and can pick him up and take him home, which was a great relief. The surgery was a great success. He's doing great and acting like nothing has happened LOL. I would highly recommend Dr. Infernuso and the ASC. The place is nice and very clean.

Dr Kamran was very kind and perineal urethrostomy done on my son’s cat was successful. The staff there aee very nice.
Only thing missing when discharged, was the diet restriction was not mentioned to me, even though i asked the vet tech.
After 3 weeks during followup, when i informed Dr K what i was feeding my Cookie, he then advised that a specific diet needed to be adhered to.

Dr Infernuso is incredible! Extremely kind, caring, and knowledgeable!! My cat, Joey, was in the best of hands! From our initial consultation to surgery and follow up!! His entire staff is also very special! Always hope not to need them but great to know they’re there if you do!!

Love the Animal Surgical Center. Everyone there is so helpful and kind. All the doctors are wonderful. Dr Cameron has operated on a few of my dogs with great results. He takes the time to explains what’s going to be done and was very gentle with my little 4lb guy. I highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this animal hospital and the team that saved my dog, Albus. He recently underwent a very dangerous surgery, and every single staff member was incredibly attentive, loving, and caring. They were always available to provide updates, which meant everything to me during such a stressful time.

For many years, different veterinarians advised me not to remove the lipoma under his front leg because of how risky the location was — surrounded by nerves, muscles, and ligaments — with the possibility that he might not be able to walk afterward. Recently, it grew so large that Albus stopped walking altogether. When I finally scheduled a surgical consult, the lipoma actually burst, and I had to rush him in as an emergency. The surgical team took him immediately and performed the surgery.

Today, Albus is walking, moving, and happy again. He is almost 12 years old, so I was extremely worried about anesthesia and recovery, but everything went smoothly. I am beyond grateful that I trusted the team and moved forward with the procedure. I was truly in the best hands with Dr. Kamran Babamohammadi.

Thank you for giving me more healthy, happy time with my dog. I will forever be grateful.

My dog injured herself on 12/29/25 & my primary vets office said she had torn her CCL & needs surgery. He highly recommended Dr. Infernuso as he personally performed the same TPLO surgery on his own dog. He said he’s a brilliant doctor & one of the bests. Turns out he was telling the truth! I was able to bring my dog in on 1/7/26 & surgery was scheduled for 2 days later.

Everyone here is so kind & this office is absolutely beautiful & spotless!

Dr. Infernuso didn’t sugar coat anything & got straight to the point with what needs to be done to help my dog feel better & heal. He even showed me her X-rays & helped explain to me what had happened to her leg & his plan of action.

Upon arrival (both for our consult & day of procedure) my dog & I were greeted with friendly faces at the front desk. Everything was explained to me about how the day would go. They included me every step of the way. They called me before my dog went in to surgery & even sent me a picture of her in recovery letting me know everything went well! The doctor himself checked in on me, followed by another member of the surgical team to go over my dogs medications. They emailed me her surgical notes the same day of the procedure (it even included what her temperature was during surgery!)

When I arrived to pick up my dog I was given paper work to let me know what I will need to do during my dogs road to recovery. The girl who explained everything to me was so patient with me & very thorough. The team was kind enough to carry my dog & put her in my car for our ride home. They made sure to check in with me the very next day & answered all of my questions. They are so easy to contact whether it’s by phone, email or text. I always got a response very quickly.

I really appreciate what everyone has done for us & being there to answer my handful of questions.

If you’re looking for a doctor in which you can trust, Dr. Infernuso is the one!

From the time you walk through the door you are greeted with smiling faces. We brought our girl Bailey there for her first of 2 FHO surgeries. Dr Infernuso spent the time to go over everything we needed to know at our consultation and you can tell how much he cares for all his patients. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my girls orthopedic care and highly recommend ASC. Thank you for all you do.

From the minute you walk through the door, you are greeted with smiles by the front desk. I met with Dr. Inguzzo, who was the third vet I went to. My baby girl needed surgery and this Vet was the only one who put me at ease. He did a successful surgery and the follow up was unsurpassable. The place is also spotless. Highly recommend!!
