Brilliant company Sam was so helpful & honest if you ever want to bye a electric bike this is the way to go

I bought a 20" Electric Folding Bike from A.S. Bikes as I wanted a bike that I could fold up and put into the garage of my Motorhome and use while away. I was over the moon with this bike, not only did it out- perform the others that I tried, which incidentally were not folding ones, but it was also considerably lighter. Win win! The service I received was second to none. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

I bought an AS Bikes folding 20-inch electric bike many years ago from a friend of mine. When I needed any spare bits, he said just ring them, tell them it was “Big Dave’s” bike. So, I did, not expecting the response, “Oh yes, we know Dave”. I have since realised their personal link with their customers is unbelievable.

This small family business has customer service second to none, even when not “selling” anything, just giving advice.

My electric bike is my lifeline due to health problems and when the rear hub/motor started giving me problems recently I was very apprehensive of it being the end of my bike. Anyway, after various emails back and forth with Sam and Katie, I packaged the wheel up which by now sounded like “a bag of spanners” and sent it down to them. Pete had a look at it and the prognosis wasn’t good. Bearings shot, wiring damaged and shaft worn. Pete subsequently rebuilt my out-of-date wheel with some new bits and some spares and not without a great deal of problems and an odd bit of verbal frustration!!

I have now received my new wheel and fitted it and its like a dream to ride.

I don’t do many reviews, but this small family business deserves the highest praise.

Ordered a bag for one of our folding electric bikes we bought from them many years ago at a motorhome show. It arrived quickly without any problem. The quality has improved from the original one (which is still in good condition) that came with one of the bikes.

I originally purchased a MK3 Electrobike with 20” wheels from AS Bikes some nine years ago and eventually had to renew the battery. I contacted the company and spoke to Sam who could not have been more helpful. Incidentally, it was she and her father Peter, who originally sold me the bike at the Romsey Show.
To ensure that I was ordering the right part I looked at their website and spotted their mobility scooter which was something I was looking for. I spoke to Sam again and arranged to drive up to Coventry to look at the scooter in person and test it out.
From the time of my arrival at their workshop the family team could not have been more helpful. Katie met us, Mike spent a lot of time explaining the operation of the scooter and its design and capabilities, Sam managed the sale and we met Peter, the designer, at the end.
I had been concerned that my weight, which was at the upper limit of the scooters design specifications, would be a problem. Having spoken to the team and tested it out I was reassured that it would cope with my weight, so I took one home with me. Since then I have been away to Cornwall in our motorhome, and it has performed flawlessly.
The key issues that I have appreciated are the ease and speed to fold and unfold the scooter, seconds, its compactness, the ride comfort, and the ability to extend my right leg on the floorboards. The controls are simple, and the scooter is powerful. By comparison to my father-in-laws conventional ‘portable’ mobility scooter the AS Bikes mobility scooter is in a class of its own.
I would thoroughly recommend AS Bikes as a company. Their customer service and aftercare is exemplary. Further, as an Electobike owner of nine years and a mobility scooter owner of a few weeks I cannot recommend their products enough. As a final comment whilst I did not buy one, their folding tricycle looks amazing with some incredible engineering features to make a tricycle portable.

Just cannot praise enought the customer service from ASbikes, so friendly, knowledgeable and seem to want to 'go the extra mile' when it comes to helping their customers.
Had a problem on a bike we purchased back in 2019 and not only did they get me the part but they posted it to me free of charge with details on how to fit it.
When we first purchased the 2 x 26" folding electric bikes we had heard about their customer services being brilliant and how pleased we are that we put our trust in them. We have recommended them to many friends and we all raved on about how well they look after us. Very highly recommend them.

Bought a second hand mobility scooter and extremely delighted with it.asked them for a second one and told me they have one, but couldn't bring it to the motorhome show as it had a dodgy throttle. Asked them if I could leave a deposit and pick it up at next motorhome show in a month's time. They said no need for deposit and I'll definitely have it . Well... We're both at showground and picking it up tomorrow. What a service. Nice friendly knowledgeable people.

I recently bought a couple of second-hand electric bikes that were originally purchased by someone else at a show. Before going ahead with the purchase, I decided to reach out directly to the company to ask a few questions—and I’m so glad I did. They were absolutely brilliant.

The response was really prompt, and not only did they answer all my questions clearly, they also went above and beyond—sending me the manuals and offering extra info to help me make an informed decision.

It’s rare to come across customer service like that these days, especially when you're not even the original buyer! I was seriously impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. I’ll definitely be looking them up next time I’m at an M&C show.

The first time seeing AS bikes was at a motorhome and camping show and I viewed the variety of bikes and mobility scooters. When speaking to members of the team I was really impressed with their enthusiasm and professionalism including interacting with people. As the years have flown by my health has declined, to the point I recognised the need for a mobility scooter. So last year at a show I visited the AS bike stand and tested one of their mobility scooters and purchased one. The scooter is fantastic with twin motors and it serves me well. This year both my wife and I decided we also needed to sell our existing electric bikes with cross bars and replace them with step through folders to aid use. These bikes are also AS bikes why? Because the quality of service Sam, Peter and team provide is 100% and a family business not a Corporate conglomerate. I highly recommend AS bikes products and team including thanking them for the ongoing support and wonderful service they have provided me. I look forward to seeing you at the next show event.

They are all very customer oriented and nothing is too much trouble

Very efficient well run family business, they were very helpful when one of our two bikes arrived damaged through no fault of there own, another bike was sent immediately we informed them of the problem, they service our bikes when we attend an event they have a stand at very willingly, at no cost to us. They are very well made and would have no hesitation to recommend there products.

My wife and I each have an A.S.Bike’s electric trike. Not only are the e-trikes first class and strong but they are foldable from full-size down to about a fifth the volume so easy to fit both into the back of the car.
With the first class products come more than first class service.
If I could, I would give A.S.Bikes 10 out of 5 stars!

My mother in law bought a scooter in 2019 and we passed it on to a friend who wanted the instructions and they emailed them immediately it’s a brilliant scooter and still going strong

We bought 2 x 20”wheel folding electric bikes from A.S. Bikes in September 2014. They have been to France and Spain numerous times over the years, in motor homes and fifth Wheel camper. They have been brilliant, with only a couple of small problems which were sorted out by post, and no charge. This family company deserves all the credit for being so caring, and nothing is too much trouble, so you feel that you can call them anytime. Well done, and see you in the future if we can wear these bikes out, they still look fantastic. Brian Burton, Oxford.

I bought the folding disability scooter at the Harrogate show and it is fabulous. It fits in my mini and gets me round shops etc.
Peter and Sam were brilliant as always, they make sure you are happy with everything.
Nothing is too much trouble. Excellent service.

I recently broke the mud guard on my mobility scooter,rang the company and spoke to a very lovely lady who was so helpful and friendly said she would send me one out , nothing to pay fabulous! It came three days later! Cannot recommend asbikes more Thankyou
