Long call wait times
Long call wait times. Rang on several different occasions and it is always busy.
Most of the branches are closed now, so you would think they would have enough staff available to take calls, but apparently not.
I bought a new phone and had no end of…
I bought a new phone and had no end of frustration trying to get my ASB Phone banking app up and running. After waiting lenghty time on hold waiting for my call to the help desk to be answered, I finally got through. The operator was very skilled in knowing what to do but he was unable to help me with technology know how. A few days later, I rang again and got a very patient lady who took me through the steps and waited for me to follow each of her instructions. Lo and behold, I am a very happy man again with my phone banking back in business.

I have wasted very precious time in hopelessly long call centre queues and am about to give up entirely. I need to register a netcode token. This is shocking customer service. Why do we pay bank fees if this is the rubbish service that results?

Bad custermer service ASB treats everyone like garbage. Run for the hills i would not recommend i would go elsewhere... They are not worthy of your time or business if you want to be treated like carp then this would be the place to go.

Terribly Long call wait times, on multiple occasions over the last 3 working days, at many different times of the day. ASB customer service is generally very bad, especially over the phone and I've switched to Westpac, in which is noticeably better

ASB's non-existent telephone support
ASB's telephone support is almost non-existent. Whatever time you call they always seem to be experiencing unexpected high call volumes. They insist on playing wait music that has poor audio quality and is annoyingly loud even at the lowest volume setting. The wait times are excessive. Use their "service" at your own risk.

They dont have half stars so had to give a full star even though ASB is not worthy of that. I didn't realize you had to get a uni degree before you can operate their website. Neither can you reach them by phone. BEST ADVISE......dont pay your accounts, they will soon call you.

Absolutely trash customer service, and very bad phone service I have been waiting for 1 hour for someone to pick my call.

The phone customer support is 0/10
The phone customer support is 0/10. My partner and I had rude and unhelpful experiences both times, I honestly can't rate the phone service lower. Truly disgraceful how rude, short tempered and condescendingly mothering they were.
The branch on Willis street in Wellington is a 8/10. Great staff and normally not too long of a wait unless you go during peak hours which I tend to avoid.
