Threatening us with a hacker attack!
Our experiences with this company and its owner were unfortunately extremely negative.
The owner ordered a vehicle-related item from us. Although the company is based in Turkey, the delivery was to be made to Bulgaria. However, incomplete and/or incorrect contact details were provided during the ordering process. In particular, no valid Bulgarian phone number was supplied, which meant that the parcel service was unable to complete the delivery.
When the customer inquired about the delivery status a few days later, we immediately explained that the shipment could not be delivered due to the incorrect contact information. We forwarded all available information to the parcel service GLS and made multiple attempts to assist in resolving the issue.
From that point onward, however, we were contacted daily with a very large number of messages and emails. Some of these communications included exceptionally lengthy documents with hundreds of pages of attachments. Rather than leading to a factual resolution, the communication increasingly developed in a manner that we considered highly inappropriate and escalatory.
Particularly concerning were repeated statements in which the customer emphasized his programming skills and threatened to interfere with or disable our online shops and technical systems. These remarks were repeated several times and caused us significant concern.
We have been operating in the market for more than 20 years and are among the largest providers in our industry in Germany. We have never experienced a comparable situation in this form before. For this reason, we decided to have the entire matter, including all existing communications, reviewed legally and to involve the relevant authorities (also Police in London). All documents and evidence will be made available to the appropriate agencies.
For data protection and legal reasons, we cannot publicly disclose all details. However, we can state that the original cause of the problem was a shipment that could not be delivered due to incorrect contact information. In our view, the subsequent communication clearly exceeded any reasonable limits.
Based on these experiences, we cannot recommend doing business with this company
