This was my second or third purchase from them. The preceding transaction were great! This last transaction was not.

The piece was large, 48”X48”. It was listed as in excellent condition as my previous ones were also. The shipment was three to five days delivery but took 13 days, no problem.

My prior experience with Art Galleries is they would order the appropriate size art shipping box. This shipping box was a “pieced and taped together” Home Depot box. Ok as long as the art is not harmed, fine.

The art was wrapped in a large plastic bag. Upon opening there were three very noticeable scuffs marks and one line six inches long trailing from the side to the exterior. I was not happy as this was to be a gift

I sent photos of the shipping box and the damage to the painting to Robbie. She responded quickly and offered to find someone locally to repair it.

My issue is the painting was to be in excellent condition, wasn’t. I asked for compensation for my inconvenience and received no answer on my request. I also mentioned returning it but was directed to repair it.

The damage has been repaired. It would have been “very nice” to have received some financial reimbursement from the seller for all my time invested plus my disappointment. The seller should have inspected the painting before it shipped. There was no way this damaged was done during transit. The internal packaging was clean, no paint marks.

Helen Tu was responsive, helpful, and made the entire artwork purchase seamless. I highly recommend their services.

I recently purchased an original painting through ArtBrokerage.com. I recommend them in the highest. They are honest, caring, intelligent and informed. They are available and personal, and they show their care in action. One can never guarantee there will be no complications in a transaction, but I can indeed guarantee that ArtBrokerage is qualified, competent, and eager to make things as good as they possibly can be.

When one is using a brokerage service, there are several qualities that go into what makes an outstanding broker. In this case, the broker is dealing with the buying and selling of art, anywhere from $1,500 all the way up to the tens of thousands of dollars.

First off, the broker needs to have integrity and earned trust. They need a track record of transactions in which they've filled the needs of both the sellers and the buyers. ArtBrokerage's track record demonstrates this history. Secondly, they need to have knowledge of their craft, understanding both the artworks themselves but also the means by which these treasures can be transported from one place to another....and ArtBrokerage has this as well.

But most importantly, a great broker needs to have a skillset that involves the inevitable hiccup or snafu. After all, we're dealing with transportation systems that occasionally lose things, damage things, or face emergency situations of their own. How does the broker handle it when something goes wrong? This is the place where a great brokerage shines, and ArtBrokerage certainly showed me great creativity, skill, and compassion in my transaction.

This is the core of my review of ArtBrokerage: how they handled a situation that faced many challenges from the time my painting was shipped until I received it. My broker was caring and present as they explained the challenge that had arisen. They had a handle on what was occurring and their communication was clear, detailed, and supportive. They laid out a plan of action and promised to keep me current as the days passed.

Imagine yourself in that situation and then having someone who was your ally working on your behalf. As the buyer in the situation I was worried that the painting I desired would not arrive and I was assured that my money was safe as the painting was fully insured. I found myself very grateful that they'd set things up the way they had and kept my funds in a neutral place until I received the painting. I have no doubt that the seller was impatient to be paid, but my broker stood firm and insisted that their quick action, coupled with allowing time for delivery, was the remedy to the complications that had arisen and we just needed to wait.

Imagine being the seller: how easy it would be to imagine that ArtBrokerage was trying to steal from you...but that's a silly worry, really, since the brokerage never ever takes possession of the items, but simply facilitates the transaction. I can attest to how my broker consistently mentioned a heart for the seller and made sure to check with me so that the seller's funds could be released at the earliest possible time.

Perhaps my situation might even be the other side of a recent review which was, shall we say, less than charitable and certainly conveyed less than 1% of the needed information to make a good decision about whether or not to use ArtBrokerage's services.

My experience with Art Brokerage has exceeded my expectations. I worked with Robbie, who guided me through the steps seamlessly to purchase a BEAUTIFUL, In excellent condition, Ron Burns Original. Robbie negotiated with the seller when I made an offer. ALL communications were prompt, and I would wake up in the morning and, surprisingly, had received updated replies from the company. The handoff of the artwork was amazingly easy. It turns out that the seller lived just 5 minutes from my home, so no shipping was required and no extra fees for insurance. I didn't know the seller until we met, and I now feel like I have a new canine devotee friend in the neighborhood. I paid a fair price, and the service was superlative. I had an excellent experience with Art Brokerage & specifically Robbie Reddy who was the woman who brokered my purchase. Robbie was super professional and friendly. She professionally brokered the sale for a fabulour piece of art I spotted on their website. When I submitted an offer, she was quick to respond to me, & quick to present it to the owner. When the offer was accepted, she advised me immediately of this as well as provided clear instructions for the final necessary steps in order to have the painting shipped. The whole transaction was completed in a short amount of time. And my art was carefully & thickly bubble-wrapped and then boxed in multiple layers of cardboard all within another large shipping box to prevent any damage. I'm very happy with the whole experience!

Working with Leonard Panar and the entire team at Art Brokerage to list and sell original artworks has been an excellent experience. Their knowledge of the market is unparalleled and all communications have been professional and timely. Their daily marketing campaigns get the artworks in front of collectors and matching the right collector with a painting has been hugely rewarding. Buying and selling on the secondary art market, as opposed to a gallery, requires a brokerage that can be trusted on all levels. I trust Art Brokerage and especially Leonard, with the sale of my precious artworks and were I in the market to acquire a piece, I would definitely purchase through Art Brokerage.

My first experience with Art Brokerage left me with questions about the value of the art that we wanted to list. I researched several avenues to sell some of our art, including art galleries and Ebay. After a thorough evaluation, I realized that Art Brokerage was honest and an outlet that I could trust to sell art through. Each interaction with the company has been pleasant and factual. I would recommend them if you have art that you want to sell. Donna (CEO) is particularly knowledgeable in this industry and is a pleasure to work with.

They say they do not deserve a BAD REVIEW because
I disagree with their pricing policy??? Well how abut the fact that the owner Donna Rose made a comment "Deal with this As_Hole" because I simply pointed out
as a very advanced collector and spouse of a former gallery owner that I was offered 2x the price she agreed to list the piece for??? How about the fact that she, Donna Rose made such a disgusting and libelous comment for a reason that multiple other pieces by the same artist by inferior athletes were listed for thousands more than what she wanted to list my piece for??? How about the fact that when I attempted to cancel my other listed piece and told her to stop sending me solicitations on 4 separate
occasions and had to file a BBB complaint she didnt do it and made excuses until she was threatened
legally??? Then she has the nerve to say I didnt have the right to post a bad review??? Wow!!!!!

I had no previous experience buying art and Robbie was great to work with.
Communication was excellent, packing was above expected and most important TRUST.
If like me, this is your first time buying art, here you’ll find people you can trust. Service was excellent.

Terrible customer service
Only thing they wanted was to sell the art at a lower price to get it sold no regard for the quality or value of the art or artist.
They called me rude and told me I was not very nice.
All I said was I’m unwilling to sell my art for less than it’s worth.

Given the CEO’s reply you called me rude and disrespectful, great way to treat customers, not a company I will do business with after being treated in such a manner!!!

Fantastic. That sums it up in one word. But to be more specific, I sell art through Art Brokerage for a gentleman that was a major art dealer for many years, but is now retired. All of my interactions with Donna have been stellar. She is truly concerned with assisting me in this process, she goes above and beyond to make sure all of our needs are met. She, and all of the brokers have taken a monumental task and made it simple and painless. Their personal interaction, fantastic software, and quick response have made this project an enjoyable one. I can't say enough for their professionalism and concern for both buyers and sellers. Refreshing in this day and age!

I have utilized Art Brokerage for purchasing three sought after pieces and can't say enough good things about them and especially Robbie Reddy in assisting me. So, how do we sing your praises? We have been selling art thru art brokerage for the last fifteen years. We have had the opportunity to work with Donna and many of the brokers, especially, Helen, Leonard and Jennifer, they are acutely aware of today's art markets and market pricing. They are very experienced true professionals and always honest with you and although we don’t always agree, we are always treated with courtesy and respect. We have had many seamless transaction and are always paid promptly. We have much appreciation for the work they do 24/7/365 although it is not always easy. We have been in the art business for a very long time, in fact we worked with Lenord, back in the day, when we owned a brick and mortar gallery and he was the representative and publisher for Itzchak Tarkay. The one thing that we have learned is “You can please all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time bun not all of the people all of the time”

Marks art up over 100% making them higher price then new from the gallery!

I listed four different limited edition prints that I had no idea about, and had a lot of questions to ask about them is I'm not in to fine arts at all and know nothing about it I was really curious I just knew that the prints I had was limited edition and we're some kind of money.. Dealt with Donna the entire time besides a couple emails. She was quick to reply honest and didn't beat around the bush about anything told me that what the economy's like right now and the best and fastest way to sell my prints just as I wished.. I told her how much I appreciated her for helping me out so much and taking the time to explain to me and she thanked me and thank me and thank me numerous times and says that they don't get very much appreciation well they sure ought to get appreciated that's for sure. Been doing the business for over 40 years they know what they're talking about she has seen many many different kinds of artwork and art styles and she does it for a living why would somebody be upset by her being honest with you telling you about your artwork that you're trying to list. She's not going to tell you it's worth $100,000 if it's worth a thousand and she ain't going to tell you that it's worth a thousand if it's worth $100,000 she is 100% honest. In the other couple gals that I had emailed there they was also very very nice and thanked me. Made me feel welcome and took the time to make me understand everything that I wanted to know. I listed my first two serigraph limited edition prints by Slava Ilyayev and they made my experience so easy that I told Donna in an email that since they treated me so well that I'm going to post two other prints and she could not believe that I was being so respectful and appreciative for them.. I'm very thankful and I will use them anytime that I have any kind of artwork I will go right to them. Even if it's not something maybe that they sell I'm sure as nice of a gal Donna is I'm sure I could contact her personally and she could enlighten me on whatever kind of art work that I had.

I just wanted to share that my experience with Robbie Reddy at ArtBrokerage.com has been nothing but awesome! I have purchased 3 wonderful pieces of art over the past couple of years and Robbie has worked with me every time. He answers all my questions and gives me great confidence in my selections. He has gone out of his way to help, e.g. one piece I wanted really wasn't available on my timeline so Robbie took the time to find a similar selection that actually turned out to be a better option. I now have all my pieces beautifully displayed. The process has always been prompt, secure, and the payment/shipping approach are well done providing me great comfort during purchases.
