Permission to try something new!
Great place! Nicola was wonderful, especially if you’re new and don’t know what you’re doing. It’s a fun friendly place where I’ve met new friends and tried new things. Would highly recommend!

8th birthday party at art-K Reigate
My daughter had her 8th birthday party are art-K Reigate at the weekend. I was slightly worried that the party would be too much like another school day, but I was very wrong. All the children loved it and the party leaders were fantastic. My daughter immediately asked if she could have her 9th birthday party there.

Our son’s longest-standing activity
My son (10) has been doing art-k for 3 years, the longest he’s stuck to any activity. I put this down to the consistently fantastic teachers and interesting projects. He’s always so proud to show us his work (rightly so) and it’s wonderful to see him so committed to something.

Great art classes for creative kids.
My son has been attending Art K sessions for a number of years as he finds the sessions so enjoyable. He enjoys the projects and variety of art work he completes. He has gained confidence and skills in his art work and I am always amazed at the art work he has completed. I highly recommend Reigate Art K and the teachers are lovely and friendly.

Highly recommend K-art Reigate
My daughter has been attending K-Art Reigate for over 2 years now. She has really developed over this time and has created some fantastic pieces of art, which she is really proud of. She always looks forward to going and enjoys trying the various art and craft materials available. She is always learning new techniques which will continue to help her with her art gcse, which she has chosen for next year.

10th birthday party fun
My daughter had her 10th birthday party at the Reigate studio. The studio is warm, bright, clean and tidy. The two teachers were professional, personable and very knowledgable. They took over immediately and guided the girls through two art activities over 2.5 hours. I just sat back and watched with little intervention needed. it was bliss ! They all loved their time there and went home with their masterpieces. I really do recommend a party there for your budding artists. Thank you so much !!

Family workshop
We had a fabulous time at the family workshops at Art-K Reigate. My son attends art-k weekly and this was a wonderful opportunity to join in and see his skills in action. Really great value for money, we loved it so much, we booked in for a further session later in the day!

Friendly and welcoming

My daughter has been going to Art-K for just over a year. She has really enjoyed the projects and the extra starter activities. Looking at the pieces she's proudly put up at home, you can see how her art skill has developed. She loves the individual support she receives each week.

Fantastic after school club
Absolutely amazing club for my child. My son has gained so much calm, self-confidence through this art tuition. His skills have come on beautifully and his teacher is so knowledgeable in encouraging him on his journey. Thank you art-K Reigate!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a lovely, positive review. Your daughter is a delight to have in the studio and currently shows a love of soft pastels and colour for her sunset project. She shows so much enthusiasm for this project.

Very positive learning experience with encouraging and knowledgeable tutors.
I’ve been going to Art-K Reigate classes for about a year now. I’m an adult learner and I always enjoy the lessons and feel that I have achieved a lot. The tutors are very knowledgeable and encouraging. I learn something new every lesson. I am happy to recommend Art-K based on my very positive experience.

Great for kids
My 6 year old loved his time at a holiday class working with paint and clay. A great way to spend time being creative.

Disappointing
I had paid for half a day and my daughter came back disappointed. She came back with a fairly simple piece of work, she said they did not help her with it and the activity she was doing seemed like something someone much younger could have done (she is 12 and in her second year at senior/secondary school). I thought the point was that she would get help or be taught how to get better at her chosen media. She hoped that she would get to use more creativity in her piece, she also mentioned that the actual teacher wasn't there and it was just the assistant.

We're sorry you were disappointed with your daughters work and we recognise that your daughter is already very competent at art. Thank you for taking the time to write this review- as we welcome the opportunity to explain our approach.
Your daughter choose this project from the 5 options presented. And the 3 other 12 years olds present, also did the same project! The attraction of this wreath project seemed to be that it contains very intricate beautiful colourful drawings of mushrooms and once the students were shown some examples, the group were away creating their own versions and engrossed with the project for the whole time. Yes, potentially younger students can do this, but younger students would most likely have a different level of dexterity, detail and quantity in their creation.
Our holiday time workshops offer enjoyable attractive projects to complete on the day. For learning art skills, we'd recommend a trial class in our term time sessions where week after week, we can get to know the students and what art skills they have and where we can take them. To meet the same age group again I can guide you to the Saturday 11:15 class.
Thank you very much for coming to art-K, and we hope we can continue to offer enjoyable art sessions for your daughter and everyone.
