My time at Art-k was absolutely excellent.
The Tutor Claire at the Nottingham branch was an inspiration, full of advice and encouragement. I regained my love of art and the confidence to experiment with different media's I had never tried before.
I produced work I was proud of and far beyond my expectations.
I would recommend Art-K to anyone with an interest in art and the enthusiasm to improve and take it to another level.

My daughter is 7 and going to Art K is the highlight of her week. Not only is she becoming more confident in her artistic ability but her confidence with meeting and mixing with a children outside of school has also drastically improved too. Claire is popular with the children and is running a fab local art group!

My 6 and 8 year old LOVE the holiday…
My 6 and 8 year old LOVE the holiday workshops in Nottingham. They have been before and loved it. The morning of the workshop they are so happy, such a great environment for creative minds. They are so eager to show us their art when they get home. They stay for the whole day and bring lunch and they are tired by the end of the day but happy. Looking forward to booking in for more sessions for the holidays, so nice to know while I am at work they are having so much fun.

It is such a lovely evening, mixing with like minded people, you can chat if you wish to or sit quietly enjoying your own creative process. It’s a ‘me’ time experience, one that I think we all need.

Amazing experience
My grandson attended K-Art in Nottingham this morning for a half day session. He was quite anxious before we left home and I wasn't sure how things would go. On arrival we were met by a wonderful member of staff who welcomed him by name, showed my grandson where he would be sitting and made sure he was settled. On my return at the end of the session my grandson had a beaming smile, said he loved the class and wants to come again! Amazing experience for him

Fantastic art lessons!
My daughter has been attending art k for a term- she attends weekly sessions but has also done some holiday workshops. She absolutely loves it and looks forward to it every week. She's created some fantastic work and had the opportunity to try a range of projects using different materials and techniques. Claire is a wonderful teacher and my daughter has learned so much from her. Not only that but Claire often sends me photos and updates with how she's progressing. The teaching is very much catered to each child which has really helped my daughter grow in confidence. As a secondary school art teacher myself, I cannot recommend Art K in Gedling highly enough! Since starting the workshops my daughter is so inspired she is constantly sketching at home.

Brilliant space for art lovers
I feel incredibly lucky that we found this art class for my son. He loves art, drawing, and being creative but can be nervous in new situations. From the very first session, he felt safe, supported, and excited to create. Claire is very knowledgeable about art but also has gift for connecting with children and encouraged him in just the right way. She is so calm and supportive and takes the time to really explain things to parents and children.
It’s not easy to find a space where children can express themselves freely while also learning real technique and this class strikes that balance perfectly. Grateful to have this in our community! Highly recommend for any budding artists.

Your son is a joy to teach and we are very happy to be working with him again this term. We hope he continues to enjoy his art lessons.
Give something new a try.
This has been a new activity for my daughter so she was a little nervous but Claire made her feel welcome. From the first class I could tell this was going to be a great experience and I wasn’t wrong. My daughter’s creative side was in full flow but it was nice to see her be more focused with it. Everything she did in the class she was so proud of and couldn’t wait to tell/show me.
Claire also kept me informed about what they were doing and of her progress.
This class is a big hit in our house and she will definitely be back.
We also loved the welcome card and the end of term card, that is a lovely personal touch.
