My NCA success wouldn’t have been complete without God and The Arora academy team.
The teaching was unscripted, easy to follow and detailed. I particularly saw the improvement in my communication skills and data gathering approach. All the tutors were ready and happy to help. It is definitely not a waste of your money so go for it.

I had contacted Arora Academy after having failed my first attempt of PLAB 2 in December 2023. I did not follow any academy previously nor did I have any practice partner. I just read some scenarios which were very common. In short I wasn't much prepared. As expected I failed this exams and that was by a narrow margin of 4 points. While preparing, I was just following the basic formats to approach all scenarios (such as the TMAFTOSA). On the exams day I was devastated because I had scenarios which were very unfamiliar to me, especially those with ethical issues and this was enough to crush my self confidence.

Then I booked the PLAB 2 for a second attempt which was on July 2024. I had 7 months to prepare for my second attempt and this time I made the wise decision of choosing an academy and went for Arora Academy. I watched the livestreams and offline videos on the aroramedicaleducation.co.uk website. I then realized how much more preparation is required to clear this exams. Dr Aman gave a simple, clear formula on how to approach all types of scenarios and cleared all our doubts on livestreams which were very interactive and helpful. Those candidates who were following livestreams from abroad got their queries addressed by Dr Pooja, who was managing the livechats. Furthermore, there were offline videos available to watch unlimitedly unlike other academies who give only a limited attempts to watch their videos. I went to the academy only 3 weeks prior to my exams to be familiar with the practical scenarios. Different types of dummies and mannequins were available to practice for all PLAB 2 scenarios and moreover Dr Pooja came to help us whenever we had queries. I also got the opportunity to have 2 mock exams: Online and in person at the academy, by Dr Ashley and Dr Lucas respectively. After the mock exams we were given detailed review about our shortcomings and how to improve them and this cleared more doubts which I had.

The second attempt did not go much as expected. There were many unfamiliar scenarios with all kinds of unexpected issues. However I applied all the principles I learned from the Arora team and I passed this time. In short, this academy is a must if you want to clear PLAB 2 and you're guaranteed to pass.

The non-scripted structure you’re taught by Dr Arora is something that will not only get you through your PLAB2 but will enhance your real-life consults as well. It’s a fool-proof system that works, but you will have to put in the time and effort to learn it well by practicing and making minor alterations to suit your personal style.

I will definitely be using Dr Arora’s help again if and when I get to the MSRA stage.

The academy itself is spacious, inviting , and clean. The instructors were all very welcoming and helpful. I see that they’ve changed the seating to accommodate smaller groups (so you can get your know your peers better) which was the only thing I had a gripe with. Glad to see that they make small adjustments with every batch to provide the best experience possible.

It’s only been a few months since I was part of the Arora experience but I look back on that time fondly as an important part of my UK medical journey.

Dr. Aman Arora and his team are exceptional when it comes to guidance. I opted for their PLAB2 course.
Their study materials include video lectures, audiobooks and flashcards including SimMan and emergency scenarios. Their mocks are detailed and they guide you with your weak areas in the best possible manner.
The academy is available for practice as many times as you like.
The whole team is available to help with your doubts as and when you need.

Definitely worth the money. Made the exam feel manageable by teaching logical approaches and critical thinking skills, and now can’t really imagine approaching the exam any other way. Hands on, focused and leaves you walking away feeling competent and ready! 10/10 recommend.

First of all the warmth of the entire team of doctors was great especially in a new place and with the looming exam anxiety. The programme itself is well structured, it is quite intense and most things are covered in the 10 days (technically 9&1/2 days with the 1/2day Sunday being optional practice). Dr Aman is reachable most times and responds to messages most times. It is also helpful to go through the videos and flashcards before and after the in person programme to reinforce the learning. I like that they teach you how to approach the exams in general rather than just doing cases. This means we are equipped to handle how to approach a case rather than just role plays and doing each kind of case in a very scripted format. It allows you to approach the cases in your own unique styles while still maintaining the structure. That being said they do plenty of role plays as well to give you and idea of how you are doing. There are 2 mocks, one virtual and one in person and they offer detailed feedback after them. I am writing this review just after finishing the course and I haven’t given my PLAB 2 exam yet. I have done one virtual mock and am going to do another mock in a few days time. I am Hoping that all the things learned will help me get through. The only issue (if I am really nitpicking) is that it is really far from Birmingham city center and difficult to get there via public transport.

The 10 days academy was extremely worth it. It boosted my confidence most importantly and the level of clarity is unmatched. I’m glad I enrolled in the Course.

I did my Plab2 prep with the Arora academy, their study material is an all in one package for the exam, the mocks are very helpful. I liked their approach of teaching this exam the most, focusing more on the structure and method and not the lengthy scripts. Dr. Aman is available 24/7, you can drop him a text and he always responds. I recommend this to everyone going to take plab!

I took the UKMLA/PLAB2 gold package which included video lectures, flashcards, mocks and live teaching sessions. Dr Arora and the team are very knowledgeable, professional and kind. The structure of the exam and how to pass it were clearly communicated. Common myths were debunked and queries from participants were discussed. The feedback from the mocks provided the final boost of confidence I needed to be successful in the exam. I highly recommend this course.

The teaching is well organized and easy to understand, there is a lot of material in various formats, and the staff is helpful and approachable and willing to offer extra help if needed. Mannequins are in good condition, and the Mocks have great feedback. Highly recommend.

I have recently passed my PLAB 2 EXAM. Before going to Arora's Academy I was lacking confidence. But after joining the academy, talking to the mentors, practicing one to one session in the presence of mentors, and giving mock exams , I became confident that I can do this exam. This academy really help in boosting my confidence which is one of the essential parts of passing the exam.
