Instructor is very charming. She explains pattern drafting concepts in a way that is easy to understand and that made me feel confident that I could sew many variations on patterns I drafted myself. I made three t-shirts this weekend each with different necklines and sleeve lengths based on the basic t-shirt pattern taught in this course. I’m not a beginner sewist, but I am a beginner at pattern drafting.

I like that I can go back and watch the videos as often as I need to. A big plus is the course is broken down into short videos, so that if there is something I want to refresh my memory on, I don’t have to watch a long video to find the part that I want to review.

I purchased the basic pattern drafting course and am so happy with it that I am going to buy the more advanced course.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! What a fabulous resource for dead stock fabric. The customer service is out of this world - knowing I’m a novice and checking with me what the fabric will be used for before sending, and even offering suggestions for a suitable alternative. To my delight when my order arrived I received the fabric I ordered along with another, lighter fabric so I can try it out. If that wasn’t enough the order comes in sustainable packaging and included a sample booklet with fabric care instructions which is a godsend! I honestly couldn’t recommend Arkdefo highly enough.

A clearly laid out website, easy to find what was available, colours match closely what I bought, explanatory video was nicely done, enthusiastic and accurate. Prices good and fabrics beyond superb! Delivered very quickly, well packed. I’m a fan!

Really great range of products to choose from - and the bundles with properly matched lining are a great price as well as giving reassurance that you've got the right fabrics together. When the parcel arrived it was beautifully wrapped - a joy to open - and included a booklet of fabric samples with care instructions. I'll be referring to this again in the future - probably for another purchase. 100% would recommend.

I first bought some fabric online from arkdefo and it was lovely but not quite what I was looking for even though their descriptions were very good. When I heard they had opened a shop in Glasgow I thought I must visit, there's nothing like feeling fabric by hand. When I visited the shop the customer service was brilliant, they talked me through all the different weights and dry/wet cotton. I left with some lovely fabric . I would definitely recommend Arkdefo for anyone wanting some waxed cotton

After posting a review saying I would buy again if they had an burgundy fabric, they contacted me to say they had found 2m and did I want it. That is what I call great responsive service!
The invoice was sent as it's not a standard length for them, and once paid the parcel was promptly posted and arrived well wrapped. Inside was the 2m plus another short section as a gift as it was marked.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either the quality of the fabrics or the amazing service. Good luck with the shop.
