They don't stand behind a damaged bike in delivery
Ordered TWO bikes. Convinced our friends to buy this brand also instead of RAD - what a mistake. Two + months later our bikes arrived. All of the packing material was broken. My bike was fine, my husband's bike has a deep gouge on top of his frame and a bent front disc rotor. 3 weeks now, avg of 3-10 emails a day X 5 days a week between Chloe, Jason, and Route Insurance you are forced to buy. Route will state they are not paying because it can't be "proved" it happened in shipping. Jason and Chloe use the same cut and paste wording every email about how sorry they are this happened, but be sure and let them know if there is anything else they can do - besides the nothing they are doing.

I purchased a Arial Rider Grizzly several months ago and finally got it the other day. They never gave me any updates on shipping and I’ve reached out to them several times with no response. My bike came with missing parts and Now I have to try and get my parts by emailing them again and again because they don’t answer calls or personally respond. Worst purchase ever. Now I’m probably going to have to find someone in the Twin Cities that can work on it for me
Ariel Rider Scams
In June, I emailed and asked about ordering a bike, they said it was pre-order only but I would get it by the second week of July. I decided to order and wait the 4 to 5 weeks because it looked like a great bike. I continued checking the shipping dates on their website and it seemed legit. I received an advertisement email from them titled "the wait is over!" And it claimed to finally have several models "now in stock!" So I checked their shipping page again, and the ship date now said "pending container release - ships late July". During the last week of July I emailed and asked about shipping, they didn't give me much info, said late July/ early August will ship. Still did not receive any updates or good communication. In fact, it's August now and their website still says "late July".... has been "pending container release" for three weeks (not believable). So I emailed to cancel my order and get my money refunded. They were happy to do it, but said they had to charge me a 2.3 percent fee for their web payment company. So I was not only out $47 bucks for canceling on a product that wasn't even in stock, but also got the runaround about shipping, along with very little communication, no updates and pushing ship dates out. This company is awful, zero customer service, and I feel like I was scammed out of money, seriously. Please beware of Ariel Rider, I would recommend going with any other company.
Tried to purchase an e-bike
Tried to purchase an e-bike. The model I wanted was out of stock so I emailed the company and asked if they had any sort of ETA on when it may be back in stock. To my surprise they said it would be available "next week". Well the next week came and on Thursday the bike was still not available so I asked them again about when it would be available as the week was now almost over. The response was just simply that they do not have an exact date of availability. When pressed again as they had already set the expectation, I just got the same response as the first one. Clearly they are not interested in any new customers. The support rep, Jamie, is doing the company a lot of harm and likely resulting in a lot of lost business. I will happily take my money to one of the many other e-bike manufactures and give it to them instead. Thankfully this pre-sale experience has given me an idea of how the company operates and why it would likely be a bad idea to do business with them.
Dot purchase an Ariel rider ebike. Horrible customer experience
Worst experience with any bike company I have felt with . Horrendous customer service thank you to Jaime and Chloe. I don’t even understand who trained them or how they got hired.
Ordered bikes from super73 and rad power and amazing customer service and experience then tried Ariel and it’s been nothing but lies, stress and fingers pointed at me with no solutions.
Our local ebike repair shop said they do not work on Ariel riders and that should have been the first sign. They said when you need parts for repairs they never answer and it takes weeks to get ahold of someone.
I have Ariel the benefit of the doubt because they looked cool only to waste 1 month waiting , another week fighting with their team who refuse to help out in any way and they lie on the reviews saying we are wrong and another 2 weeks for a refund just to start back to where we started. No bike in the middle of summer when the website said shipping end of June . Have they heard of emailing their customers a week or two before they miss the deadline offering a refund or solution? No. Because they are not a real company.
