Visited arbury Sydenham to look at an…

Visited arbury Sydenham to look at an elroq as we hadn’t seen one on the road. Arrived and one other couple were in the branch. Had a quick look and no elroq, only kodiaq and two enyaq’s. Took ages for anyone to come over to us. Coincidentally the other couple in there also wanted to see an elroq, I overheard them being told they didn’t have one but had a photo of one! (I can see a photo online, thanks)
When eventually approached we asked to see an elroq. The man said we have a demo we can bring round, but we shouldn’t really be showing it as we aren’t allowed to show cars that are older than 3 months (it was a 75’ plate) so us and two other people were scratching after this one illusive Elroq. They hopped in first so we stood inside waiting for our turn. In this time, a third couple came in for a test drive.
Surprise surprise, it was a test drive on the Elroq we were also waiting to look at! We were told we could have a very quick look but that the Enyaq is exactly the same bar the boot. We sped round looking at the Elroq (the test drivers were literally waiting) then it went off for its test drive leaving 2 couples to look at Enyaq’s hoping they were similar. We asked the salesman what the differences were and he said none. I asked if the sun visors in the back were in the elroq (they aren’t) he said do you not just want an enyaq? No, we want an elroq!

I cannot believe a car that only began manufacture in 2025 has already been shunned from the showrooms!
From what we saw we really liked the elroq but please put one in your showroom as they are clearly popular.

I’m really sorry to hear that your visit didn’t meet expectations, particularly as you made a specific trip to view the new Elroq. I completely understand how frustrating it must have been to wait, only to have a very limited opportunity to see the vehicle.

To clarify, we do have an Elroq demonstrator available and there are no restrictions preventing us from showing vehicles over three months old. On the day of your visit, this vehicle was out on a pre-booked test drive, which unfortunately impacted availability in the showroom. However, I appreciate that this wasn’t communicated clearly to you, and that led to confusion and a rushed experience, for that, I apologise.

I’m also disappointed to hear that your questions weren’t answered with the level of knowledge and detail you would expect. While the Enyaq and Elroq do share similarities, they are not identical, and you should have been given clear and accurate information to help you make an informed decision.

You’re absolutely right about the popularity of the Elroq, the demand has been very strong, and your feedback highlights how important it is that we manage this better in branch.

I’d really appreciate the opportunity to put this right for you. If you’re still considering the Elroq, I would be more than happy to personally arrange a dedicated appointment where you can spend proper time with the vehicle and receive a full walkthrough without interruption.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. Very professional sales executive in the sales department. Answered all queries.

Staff in the parts department were outstanding. Needed some info on fitting a component and the member of staff researched and provided the relevant information.

The showroom is very tidy and the whole environment very appealing. Well done to the team Top Marks

The sales assistant was helpful but…

The sales assistant was helpful but very busy and did remind us how busy he was. We payed a reservation fee to be able to test drive the car, however this has not been refunded ten days later… I’m disappointed as I’m having to chase this and worried that this won’t get refunded.

I am very sorry for the frustration and concern this situation has caused you. I completely understand why having to chase a refund, and not knowing when it will arrive would be worrying, and I apologise that this was not dealt with as quickly as it should have been.

I can confirm that your reservation fee has now been refunded in full, and our Sales Manager has also contacted you personally to apologise. While this does not undo the inconvenience you experienced, I hope it gives you reassurance that the matter has now been fully resolved.

I would also like to thank you for your comments regarding the sales assistant — and equally acknowledge your disappointment around the experience overall. We are reviewing this internally to ensure our processes are clearer and that customers are kept properly informed, particularly when we are extremely busy.

Excellent garage

Excellent garage, very professional and good value for money. A reminder that if you have a Skoda problem GO TO A SKODA GARAGE, they have nothing to loose by being professional and truthful. Plus this garage was able to deal quickly and all the staff were so lovely. I highly recommend THIS garage for sales as well.

Poor service, broken promises, and no accountability

I purchased a car from Arbury ŠKODA Leamington Spa earlier this year and the experience has been very disappointing.

Emails went unanswered.

Issues with the car were denied rather than addressed.

They could not provide any paperwork for servicing (I doubt it was ever done).

The car was missing the correct parts, and there was a general lack of care.

When I spoke to the dealership manager, they were terse and antagonistic — which speaks volumes about the leadership and culture.

Buying from a main dealer should bring peace of mind, but this has been the opposite. I would not recommend this dealership.

Visited Škoda Arbury Leamington Spa Dealership,
Upon arrival to test drive the Škoda Fabia they still have advertised BD68YLM We waited around for a good 10 minutes before having to find someone to say we had arrived,
The salesman we dealt with was very pleasant,
We went to the car had a look around, were told that the car had been prepared ready for sale,
upon getting into the car we noticed that the handbrake was worn, the interior door handles were dirty and around the roof lining was mucky,
Then we pulled the seatbelts which felt wet and to make matters worse when we fitted the belts there was mould on them which is the first time I’ve ever seen this,
We took the car out for a drive around the estate, we pulled over and lifted the bonnet to be confronted with muck leaves and mess all over the engine bay,
I noticed that the water in the header tank was boiling like a kettle which is a sure sign that the car has a potential head gasket issue or exhaust gases leaking, this was enough for us to walk away,
We told the salesman upon our return of the state of the car, his reaction was very laid back if that was me I’d be so embarrassed,
We viewed the car which was up for £7795, then next day we thought we would have a look for another identical car to find that the dealership had raised the price of the car we had tested to £8300 we were amazed and also disgusted that they had done this,
It goes without saying we wouldn’t recommend this Škoda Arbury Leamington Spa dealership to anyone,
Beware they give Škoda dealerships a bad reputation

Regarding the header tank boiling, I would like to reassure you that every car undergoes a comprehensive 101-point Škoda check by one of our highly trained Škoda technicians before going on sale. We take great care to ensure that all vehicles meet Škoda’s approved guidelines, and we take any mechanical concerns seriously.
As for the pricing, we use dynamic pricing through platforms like Autotrader and GAP to ensure that our prices are competitive and reflect current market conditions. This means prices may fluctuate in response to supply and demand.
Once again, I apologize for your experience and hope that you might consider giving us another opportunity to demonstrate the high standard of service we strive to provide.

Bought a second hand Skoda last year

Bought a second hand Skoda last year, and have been pleased until I took it in for a service. As part of the deal I was offered a free service and Mot this year. When I took it in, I was told that no such offers had been made and that they had no records etc. I was adamant that was the offer given to me, but Skoda refused.
I was obliged to have the MOT as it had run out and was charged almost £60. This made me determined to find the relevant paperwork, but could only find the 'free' MOT letter.
As soon as the Sales Manager Natasha Salvador was made aware of my situation, she resolved my issue immediately, and had made me a Skoda customer for life!
