Aramex Courier is 'BS.'

I would give the minus star rating. The company should kick the courier operators 'ass.' This is the 2nd time. The package gets picked for delivery does not get delivered for two days or more. NZ Post is the best. The companies that use them,should rethink for deliveries. A local product had not been delivered for more than two days. The company is just 'bs.'

Improved delivery standards...

After submitting several 1-star ratings over the past few years I thought it only fair to submit a positive one for my most recent delivery.
Items ordered on Sun 5th April from China. Package arrived quickly into the country (Thur 9th April) and I've been very pleasantly surprised to receive it on Mon 13th April. 8 days....... excellent!!

My reasons for not giving a 5* rating are that it was left by the front door, not the back door as my deliveries usually are, and I wasn't made aways it had been delivered (posties always ring doorbell to alert me to delivery) so only stumbled on it by chance. Nevertheless, a huge improvement in delivery standards compared to previous experiences. Long may it last.

only the price is the reason I am still using them

Price-wise, way better than NZ Post for larger parcels. Our local driver has been very friendly and consistent, but when she's not here, or we have a pick-up/collection service elsewhere, they are literally losing the plot. Mind you, she is a sub-contractor anyway, so that Aramex can wash their hands of them....

This week I had a collection booked in Auckland - prepaid and got a label on Easter Monday, assuming pick up would be next working day (Tuesday), so Parcel would get to me by Thursday (IF I am lucky... as lately even that is no longer the case and most take 3 days at least). BUT the Parcel was not picked up on Tuesday. Check the website and see that the collection was not scheduled until Thursday now... The problem is the items in the Parcel can't stay in that Parcel for too long - so having them in there since Monday evening and then most likely not getting the Parcel until the following Monday (a week after booking it!) is just not acceptable. So, the sender told me to take the items out again and wait till Monday. I rebooked the pick-up to Monday AM, but the driver turned up last night after 6 pm to pick up the Parcel and did not know it was rescheduled. WHAT? The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing, it seems! What is the point of having an online pick-up timing tool when nobody is looking at it?

On top of that, I had to send two parcels yesterday from my place - normally, my local driver (yes, that contractor) picks up around lunchtime. No pick-up yesterday, and I was not home, so I did not notice until I got back. Just rang the local depot to ask... got told "oh, we do not have a driver" - as if I should know that?? That is the second time in 3 months that I have had the same issue. If I'd known there would be no pick-up, I could have dropped the Parcel off at the depot myself (a 30min drive away).

The least they could have done is INFORM the customer. And don't get me started on the new "Premium" Service. As if today, we have another excuse to drop the ball.... why should I pay another $5+ for something that they, as a COURIER company, should be doing anyway... delivering on time?

The problem is, we can only complain to the local depot when the actual issue is a National one. There are systemic failures within the company. They are literally a TRANSPORT company... If any other business in any other industry couldn't even get the basics right, it would be out of business...

Imagine a dentist who can't fill a tooth or a lawnmowing business that has no idea how to mow a lawn...

When they were still Fastway, things seemed to work... as soon as they got taken over by Aramex, it all went to custard and has been going downhill ever since.

VERY POOR SERVICE BY ARAMEX

All deliveries, 4 so far, from Aramex have been poor. Never quicker than 6 days between cities 1-2 hours away. Aramex have been employed by the sending business (a pharmacy ) not employed by me. Parcels left at my front door in full view of passing foot and road traffic, not even left in my letterbox. I then purchased a Parcel Protector box that keeps any parcels and letters secure from theft and Aramex drivers can’t even follow simple instructions to secure any deliveries. Still left on the steps less than a metre away from the parcel box. I have tried to explain what is happening to Aramex by phone, have had my calls terminated, emails not answered etc. NZ Post are the only postal/courier company who I trust. I will be forced to change my supplier if they do not change from using Aramex. POOR SERVICE!

Very bad experience

Very bad experience - despite the right address they tried to deliver my item to the wrong suburb with the same street name. I called to confirm the address -> no delivery. They sent my item back to the US. Amazon sent a replacement - this time again they failed to deliver and damaged the item when I made a complaint. Amazon refunded the money for the item but I paid the shipping cost~$80. I get things delivered to my house all the time with no issues. Use NZ post.

Multiple days delivery including…

Multiple days delivery including handing off to other delivery partners
Despite the parcel only traveling 80km it's already taken 4 days.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. One is far too generous.
They lose packages, lie about where packages are and it takes months for things to arrive, if they ever do. Tracking is not consistent or correct. Their customer service consists of lies and gaslighting.

Useless!!!

Useless!!!! After contacting them twice to leave the parcel at the door - twice the driver took it back to the depot because there was Noone home. THIS IS WHY I said to leave it in the courier box outside the door!!! It has now taken 10 days for a 3 day delivery and I still do not have my parcel.

Service doesn't seem to improve.

Tracking said out for delivery, but the parcel wasn't delivered until afternoon of the following day.
The parcel was labelled 'Please leave at front door' but it was left hanging out of the mailbox in the rain.

They will mark your parcel as delivered when you can prove it has not been. Consistently disgusting delivery service that verges on dishonesty and lies.

Warning when using Aramex

There should be a law forcing on line vendors to disclose the carrier. When using Aramex, we are dealing with the most gang-Ho, uncaring and unprofessional courier service in New Zealand.
More often than not, they throw the parcels without warning, without notifying, without caring where it falls.
As the saying goes, when you pay peanuts you get monkeys.
please note: the date of experience is tentative, it reflects all the times I had the misfortune to get parcels with them

Avoid at all cost if you want a delivery

After ordering an item from Dubai we paid for next day delivery to the UK. The Oran war delayed things however it still took a further week after leaving Dubai. Their customer service is a joke you can wait on hold (on live chat) for over 40 minutes.

Pathetic Service

Booked courier through Trade Me. Waited from 8.00am until 4.50pm for driver to collect. Tried to track parcel using the tracking number provided. Would not allow me to track parcel. When I enquired as to when the parcel would be collected I was told the driver had until 5.00 pm to collect. I had plenty to do this day so were not pleased having to wait around for near 7 hours. Useless tracking service provided. Hopefully my parcel arrived safely. I will not be using ARAMEX services again but will give my custom to NZ Post. Pathetic.

The worst courier company who have…

The worst courier company who have never done anything over the years ro provide a good swice. The nearest depot to me leaves parcels for around 4 days before the local driver carries out a delivery. Why do people have to pay courier prices which parcels are rammed into letterboxes rather than delivering to the door as a courier service should be. Sometimes the driver puts parcels in the wrong boxes. They are just lazy people It came to the point where I now ask the companies I order from not to send my parcel by Aramex. A lot of companies have said they do not use Aramex any more.At my local depot - Whangarei, I have rung to complain and the people who answer the phone are rude and tell me straight away that the manager is not available. Why are the reviews so bad countrywide. Is it the management or the st aff that are employed.

Following your reply. My review is in relationto tge delivery of all my parcels. Not just the recent one
Ir would be good if you could investigate tour transportation process. The transportation from depicts should not taken 4 days from the final depot. Also please investigate the out for delivery drivers are ramming parcels into mail boxes (sometimes incorrect boxes]. Myself and other people pay for a courier service to the door. Parcel can be taken out of mail boxes.

Won't be using aramex again

Won't be using aramex again. Prepaid a time importance parcel and pick up was 3 days ago. Would have been easier to use snail mail and put into regular post. How are these guys still in business ? Very unprofessional given the fact they were expected for pickup on a certain day and have tried contacting them through the allocated number and yet parcel still here. Lesson learnt
