The grade boundaries for foundation maths is so bad why is it so high ur making everyone fail make it atleast 52 why is it 56 so many ppl r so stressed and even depressed bcz of how high the boundaries r for foundation

this might be quite possibly the most abysmal website i have ever had the displeasure of using. You need a PhD in computer science just to navigate this website. It feels like the real exam isn't doing the past paper but the task of actually finding it in the first place. When i select German i don't really expect to see the entire EU's language collection to be honest, but yet again AQA just wants to add to your already huge pile of work. It's honestly a jaw dropping moment when i find the paper, mark scheme AND listening track altogether (a total of once). Maybe its a new revision technique where they gatekeep all the revision materials so you have to make your own paper to revise from. what a garbage website for a garbage exam board.

My daughter has been coming home everyday since her GCSEs started in a supbar state of mental distress which has caused her to withdraw from her usual activities and normal self. Me and all my girls with fellow teenagers in similar situations regarding AQA all want AQA to be scrapped! GCSEs are a burden to be putting in 15-16 year olds whose brains are still developing. THIS IS COMPLETELY INHUMANE! TREATING OUR CHILDREN LIKE ACADEMIC ROBOTS

£43 is crazy to gate keep results rather guess you think everyone has endless money to burn

Dealing with them is actually a headache.
I need my past English certificate for a work programme and cannot progress without it. I applied to Pearsons for my maths certificate a day after (14th feb) and have already received my certificate (on the 28th February). Whereas, I’ve been sent around in circles trying to get an answer from Aqa. Now they are making changes to their system which is affecting people who passed between 2001-2020.
This is a nightmare.

I spent £55 for pearsons but it was well worth it as the process is quick and easy.

I just pray that AQA don’t take forever as my career is riding on this. 😣

Absolutely useless. Initial papers marked incorrectly, Incorrect certificates issued. Correct certificates sent out to an address that was closed. AQA telling half truths and delaying matters. Complete failure to grasp that they are putting peoples lives on hold. If no stars could be given that'd be my choice

As an A-level Chemistry teacher and tutor I've found AQA a really good exam board and my tutees agree. AQA questions for Chemistry are fairly challenging but they are fair. Provided you've been taught well and have used the right revision strategies you can achieve a great grade. It's also a well respected exam board, better to choose a Centre doing AQA Chemistry than one that has jumped to an exam board seen as a softer option.

Charging 43 quid for an old exam certificate and taking three weeks to sort it out. Terrible service

Working at AQA for the exams season seemed like a challenge for me with some difficulties to come but with the training given it was no hastle at all getting into it the staff the other employees were so polite and kind the ONLY one thing that I disagreed with was the fact it only lasts a few weeks as I really enjoyed it also (John) who gave induction and became my team leader I am very fond of so 10/10 for me (Morgan Lewis)

Error in the past GCSE Maths paper, 2020 higher 3, question 21(b). They misapplied circle theorem, confusing necessary condition for sufficient, quite blantant casual fallacy. Both anwers "Yes" and "No" are incorrect (correct answer would be "not enough information").
For me, that raises a serious question about the quality of their exam materials. It's not like I've reviewed tons of of their papers to find that one error, only looked at 3 or 4.

I have noticed a significant number of negative reviews about AQA, and unfortunately, this does not come as a surprise to me. As a former employee, I can attest to the fact that AQA does not prioritize the well-being of its staff or the quality of service they provide. The staff are paid very little and there seems to be little regard for their rights in the workplace. In my opinion, it is a form of modern slavery.

If you have experienced issues with schools/colleges or have been waiting for lost certificates without success, I would advise against getting overly stressed as AQA is always understaffed in every department, particularly with regards to the 60% of staff who are temporary employees. Even the kitchen and toilet sink in the company seem to have more rights than the staff. The pay is also extremely low, with a weekly salary of only £315 after taxes and national insurance. AQA will do with you as they please and how they please, leaving little room for autonomy.

I feel great sympathy for my former colleagues as I have seen many negative reviews about them. It is not their fault as they are overworked and underpaid, working on a minimum budget. Therefore, I urge you to show them some sympathy. AQA needs to stop exploiting their temporary staff, as they are a perfect example of how they hire individuals and then terminate their contracts just as they are getting used to the system and the working environment. This leaves the staff frustrated and results in poor service delivery.

The constant replacement of staff can have a detrimental effect on the quality of service offered. It is the staff and customers who suffer the most from this approach. As a former employee, I urge AQA to take care of their staff and hire enough employees to deal with the workload. They also need to take complaints seriously and appoint the right management to oversee their operations. While I could continue on this topic, I hope this summary provides a comprehensive picture of the situation at AQA.

I don't know what clowns work at AQA but my advice if you need a copy of any results just don't bother.

It would be quicker to do the GCSE again. I've been waiting for a replacement since June and the ineptitude, laziness and unprofessional attitude is shocking, especially for an education body.

They don't respond to any queries or you chasing up enquiries.

Don't waste your time or money.

AQA got my daughter Spanish GCSE and where due to give her result 25th Aug. However they had 'misplaced' her speaking test (25% of mark). They assured us it would be marked in 48 hours. It wasn't. They then said it would be marked by Monday 5th Sept, it wasn't. Absolute joke, I have had one complaint handler lie to me in an email and a customer service rep lie on the phone
