Generally I really like Aptive Pest Control. I didn’t give it 5 stars because there are inconsistencies when it comes to their service technicians. Some do a better, more thorough job than others!!

All of the Technicians

All of the Technicians, that came and have serviced my property, did an outstanding job and some even posted pictures afterwards. After 6 years of service, I haven’t had any problems/issues. Keep up doing what you’ve doing. Thank you so very much.

We have had troubles with mosquitoes…

We have had troubles with mosquitoes and knats for the last several months. I have voiced my concern via email, text and spoke with the person who treated my property. No one has acknowledged the issue and tried to resolve it for me. The only difference I have noticed since using Aptive is that ants are no longer an issue. Not sure it’s worth $180.00 a month.

HORNETS!!!!

We had a very large hornets nest that our technician
took care of. Additionally he gave us the key to keep them from returning.

Think twice before using this company

Original appointment was scheduled for 7/18. After technician drove by my house to service another customer in the same neighborhood I received notice that my appointment had to be canceled. I have dogs that use a doggy door at any time so I have to arrange my schedule to be present for all appointments to be able to close off the door and reopen. I lost a day to be able to do other necessary things and had to be an available to do it again on the rescheduled day of 7/22. I was also unaware that I was expected to remove the used traps from garage area as the dirty ones were left and new ones were placed next to the dirty ones. The technician the previous month never checked or replaced them. I also found the used “wet” trap for mosquitoes/ wasps/ flies? lying open in my trash can that I assume I was expected to dispose of. If I had known when my husband signed us up for this service that there was a cancellation cost I would not have agreed to this service. There was also a billing issue but that was resolved.

Very good overall service over the years to the present

Regular service is comprehensive and additional attention to problem areas are invited. Technicians performing work are friendly and conscientious. Effort is made to remind the customer of application dates and availability.

People are very polite and…

People are very polite and professional. Internal coordination and scheduling apparatus within the company seems to be wanting. This includes passing info provided by sales on to the operations Dept. Some services indicated as available actually are not...or so technicians state. Still working out the "bugs" (sorry for pun) in the customer and service provider relationship. Hoping it works out.

Nice folks but follow up a concern

The folks from Aptive have all been very nice; however, I was told someone would be out to fix some canisters that my mower ripped (sorry about that). Not sure if this is being scheduled as I haven't heard back since last week.

We will not use them again

They never call before coming like I asked them too. They say they'll call you back but never do. The tech never had a clue what he's supposed to be doing when he comes to the house. My mom is 90 and was so stressed out about all of this.

I would give zero stars if possible

I would give zero stars if possible. It has been a horrible experience. Response to emails is terrible. Customer service wait times is ridiculous 45 minutes to talk to someone. Spoke to 4 different supervisors trying to get the problem solved. Technician response was “pick it up yourself” tried to cancel contract said they would charge me fee to cancel even though they have not provided service promised. Please stay away from this company. Use ANYONE else

Ants Galore!!!

I signed a contract with Aptive for two years and they never resolved my ant problem! They did cut down on the other creepy crawlies significantly. I chose not to renew as the ants are still taking up residence and I am now naming them as they are clearly my pets at this point…Currently looking for ittty bitty collars.

Issue #1

Issue #1 - They only EMAIL you one (1) day before you have been placed on their schedule for service!
Issue #2 - They do not make sure that their technicians follow "special" instructions requested by the customer. This does not apply to all of their technicians, but far too many of them.
Issue #3- It appears that they have a very high employee turnover, because the BEST, most professional and efficient technicians do not seem to continue working there very long.
