I ordered a bottle of ink that is unavailable here. It arrived safely and intact. I was concerned it would arrive broken, but it did not, as the packaging was great. The items arrived on time, too, from across the other side of the world. It is always a pleasure dealing with this company.

I recently bought a Leonardo Momento Zero Grande 2.0 that I had been coveting for quite some time. There was a slight delay in shipping because the product was not in stock, but it was ultimately delivered in exactly as much time as they said it would take when I placed the order. I love my pen, but the best part of my purchasing experience was that my pen was gift-wrapped in beautiful paper (and there were two stroopwafles inside the box) which was a lovely touch. It genuinely made the whole experience of getting a new pen that much more enjoyable and I appreciated the thoughtfulness of going the extra step. Appelboom has a customer for life.

I was very reluctant to buy a fountain pen on the Internet, as in my head it is not a simple purchase that comes with a ritual of trying the pen to choose the one that fits best. The market has changed, , however, the offer in traditional stores is limited to "classical" brands, while little-known or newly founded pen manufacturers sell their products exclusively online.

Being highly motivated to expand my collection, I turned to Appelboom (the site's name is advertised on a page with pen reviews). Recently, I bought my fourth pen on the site, which means it successfully overcame my prejudices.
The service is perfect and extremely responsive: you get answers to your questions almost instantly, the parcel delivery is tracked. Appelboom also provides fast, efficient warranty service (one of my newly bought pens leaked!). I should add that at Appelboom, you can quickly get pens repaired — I have actually managed to bring two pens back to life that way.

Duidelijke en overzichtelijke website met een grote keuze uit schrijfwaren. Ik ben erg blij met mijn nieuwe vulpen, rollerball en inktpotten / -cartridges. Zo wordt schrijven weer een plezier!

Ben sins kort begonnen met het schrijven met de vulpen omdat ik een nieuwe hobby zocht daar ik huis gebonde ben .
En ben nu totaal vekocht en dus veel op internet em Appelboom steekt er met kop en schouders boven uit !

I've found Appelboom to be exceptionally responsive. Each time I sent an e-mail to their staff, I received a response on the same day. Their communication was clear, concise and error-free. When I received the shipment, I was impressed with how carefully the product was packaged. Every step of the process was conducted with skill and pride.

I had a Visconti Crystal Dream and asked if Appelboom could tune it for me, so I could be happy with the nib. I sent it in, and they corrected all of the problems!

Someone had ordered a Christmas gift from Appelboom for me, which I really relied on. I had one of the hardest years in my life, and really needed that bit of a Christmas joy. But no, instead although you sold items that were *in stock* you let them wait for weeks, and only after they contact you, you mention that you are stil waiting for the items to arrive to you because they were not in stock?! What kind of practices are these? Seriously, this is so immoral, you take people's money making them believe the items are in stock and don't even inform them about this and just let them wait. Companies like yours shouldn't exist.

Just imagine that your customer service is so bad it actually affects other people's lives. You are infamous for this, and yet absolutely nothing has changed.

I've treated myself with a Diplomat Aero Oxyd Brass for the Fountain Pen Day, and decided to buy it from Appelboom in Europe as the prices were definitely interesting, and they were also selling Diamine inks (took Salamander).

I must say I've had a wonderful experience with them: while the pen was out of stock (no issue, they indicated on the website that I would need to wait for 5 to 9 business days, so I wasn't that surprised), they took care of informing me on the situation, and dispatched the pen as soon as they received it.

And when it arrived, it was packed in a nice rigid green cardboard box, which enclosed the Diplomat pen box, wrapped up in beautiful gift paper, the ink bottle, solidly protected, and a few honey biscuits coming from the Netherlands.

I'm super happy to use my pen with the Diamine ink I got, yet I must say what won my heart was the quality of the service and packaging by Appelboom, and the care they took to keep me updated. It has made the whole experience very special, I would say Christmas like.
