Sometimes when I incidentally touch a match, I am permanently booked in without any reconfirmation and without any possibility of cancellation (if under 24h). Other players can join and leave matches booked by me even 2 hours before the match without my confirmation. Absolutely intransparent and annoying.
Obliges to store credit card data, no opt out possible, completely illegal in Europe. Be sure they sell your daya to everyone
This is quite the most ghastly, glitch-filled app I have ever come across with the most unhelpful A.I bot ever encountered. Surpirse Surprise - It's American so at least the mystery is swept away there. It is supposed to link your e-mail address with that of the club you joined so you get club discounts when booking courts. But it's American so of course it doesn't - technical Fault so you pay full price. After wrestling with the AI for 2 days to get human customer service (it constantly having claimed human C.S doesn't deal with this topic - probably another technical fault), it finally offers to connect me whereupon yet another technical glitch hits and I'm asked to try again in a few minutes. Half an hour later, when asking if the technical issue is resolved - all messaging has since crashed so I can't even ask. This is typical American crap. And they have the nerve to offer you a Premium Membership to have this sewage dumped on you even heavier for £55 per year.
Good idea, but a severe caveat:
I just clicked on a match and was immediately assigned to the match without any confirmation or even information how much it costs. It was impossible to cancel, as it was within the 24h period. The app has a flaw here.
worst customer service ever. the app charged me 24 euros to the wrong padel club and refuse to reallocate it to my padel club. So I have lost 24 euros that I cannot use and client service is not helping at all! stay away from this app
App is great for finding new people/places to play. Interface is a little awkward but once you're used to it it's no problem.
No customer service at all. I was victim of a fraudolent attempt on a card that I use only to pay matches on the Playtomic app. I blocked the card immediately, but this means that money transactions via Playtonic are not properly protected.
Total waste of money for Premium. The leveling algorithm is fundamentally broken—it dropped me from a 2.0 to a 0.9 in one week despite being a consistent intermediate player. Customer support is just bots giving canned "sorry" responses. They take your subscription fee but prevent you from actually playing competitive games. Complete digital manipulation.
My Playtomic app isn't working properly.
Every time I try to use the instant chat via the app (the only contact method) - no one replies to me.
