I’ve been using it for a couple of years and I have zero complaints. I still keep YouTube TV because my wife won’t give up the DVR, even though I already have TiviMate set up to record on a 1TB hard drive. The 5-stream option is great — my sister even canceled her cable and uses it exclusively. I rarely deal with buffering, except occasionally during live events. For $150 a year, it’s absolutely worth it.
They are Scammers. They have a very similar look and url as the real Apollo group tv and they get you to send PayPal transactions as a family and friends transaction so you can’t get your money back from PayPal. They even send you a fake username and password which doesn’t work with the Apollo group app.
This is the same disgraceful company as ApolloGroup.tv, and Apollogrouptv.
The worst kind of company. Disreputable spammers randomly harassing the public over phone, text and email on their private contact information. Meanwhile, should you be foolish enough to use their products and services you can expect to be ripped off and disappointed. Avoid Apollo Group at all costs. They should be in jail.
I have used Apollo for over two years and will never go back to cable. Does it buffer a bit yes but this is on my ISP which is Spectrum Ultra and I rarely have a problem.
I actually like Apollo Group TV. In my fifth year with them. My cable company was charging me hundreds for basic cable and internet. Streaming services are the only competitors. Yes, there are buffers, yes sometimes channels will stop working - yes it is frustrating at times but there is absolutely nothing available that is much better especially for the price. I've asked for help before as well and haven't received any response. They use discord to communicate with their customers. I used to use it. But I don't like conflict at all. This is where I almost got scammed out of money by a scammer.
