APM Telescopes Recensioni 4

I purchased the APM 60 mm Finderscope recently. It's offered with or without a reticle eyepiece. Since I already have the Meade 9 mm reticle eyepiece (Meade # 07068), I opted for the finderscope without eyepiece. The finderscope will not come to focus with my eyepiece. I had to shorten the tube and helical focuser by some 10 mm. When I shared my experience with Mr. Ludes, asking for potential buyers to be warned, we went into a long email exchange the later part of which is copied below:

Unfortunately, APM does not offer buyers' feedback/reviews on products and service. Those which do provide feedback and reviews take the edge on their competitors and earn their buyers' trust (eBay, Agena Astro, Teleskop-service do).😊

I leave it to each potential buyer to judge if this is, as I read in a previous review, simply the "not necessarily the *most* friendly people to deal with (perhaps one might say 'very german!')" way of customer care. May I suggest that buyers follow Mr. Ludes' advise and spend their money elsewhere.

Produkte ist in einen schlechten zuschand. Wurde aber als sehr gut bewertet und verkauft.

I've bought astronomy equipment from APM on a number of occasions, and always found their service to be extremely fast and efficient.

They reply to enquiries within an hour or so, and their shipments typically arrive to Denmark in about 72 hours.

On one occasion they sent me the wrong adapter, but immediately rectified their mistake by mailing me the correct one that same afternoon, no questions asked, and I was observing again within 48 hours. Very commendable!

They have also been very good at sourcing items that aren't in their inventory, and charging a fair price. More than once I've asked them to order a part for me 'off the menu' and they've been more than willing to exercise their supplier network to fulfil my order.

APM has also been somewhat flexible when it comes to offering small discounts or free shipping.

If I have any (very minor) reservations; it's that over email they're not necessarily the *most* friendly people to deal with (perhaps one might say 'very German!') but this could also just be an English language barrier. Absolutely nothing that detracts from the material efficiency of their service.

I highly recommend APM as a fast and dependable supplier of Astronomy equipment, and they have secured my loyalty with their honesty and efficiency.
