Actually better than I expected and saved me hours of time!

Good service well made products.

Everything was straight forward on the website,I choose the sizes of wood I need from the drop down menu,once I was happy checked out,which very simple,got an email from them confirming my item,now had to wait for a few days for delivery. Sadly this is where it fell down a bit ,although I had updates via tracking DX the courier who deliver the item,their website was telling me it had been delivered.But I hadn't received it,the email I was sent by the courier was telling me so,it would have been very helpful if they had mentioned it was delivered to a neighbour,I didn't even get a slip through my door to tell me a neighbour had received it. I spent the next few days wondering where it was. So I emailed Apex to tell them,they replied promptly with they r sorry and we're looking into it,of course the next day my neighbour delivers said items to me,so I rang Apex to apologise for the misunderstanding,but I think DX couriers should be made aware that they need to communicate to the drivers they must keep the customer up to date on where they drop off the items that were purchased . This is the reason I have marked up 4 stars otherwise it would have been 5 stars people's

Being a reasoably competent DIY'er I wouldn't normally buy something as simple as airing cupboard shelves. Having costed the material and adding a theoretical value for my time I decided to order from Apex. The whole experience ordering from Apex on-line has been spot on. The shelves arrived extremely well packaged and made perfectly to my measurements. They were a doddle to fit and no wasted materials in my garage.

So good to have solid walnut used in this way. The feel, colour and grain of the wood make this chopping/serving board feel extra special - and I can only think it will get better and better as it is scored and marked over time. Thank you for a fine piece, that will probably be used for more than one generation, offered at a very competitive price.

It was really easy to order from the website. My shelves arrived extremely well packaged so they weren’t damaged. The shelves themselves are really nicely made. Absolutely loved the smell of timber. Really easy to install too. I’ll be keeping them in mind for anything else similar.
