I don't live in the same state as this company but am on the West Coast still. The plants come fairly quickly and most are in nice shape, very healthy looking and most have survived so far after some months now. The worst part about this company is their customer service and website. Most of the time, they do not respond to you, especially if you have a concern about something. You have to essentially harass them to get them to respond and even then, they may still just ignore you or send you a terse, unfriendly response. Also, I am signed up for their emails/sales, etc but apparently they will still only post some sales on their Facebook page, which I do not do any social media so I never get notified of those sales and when I asked why they aren't telling us email subscribers about sales (aren't we all trying to save some money????), they, of course, ignored my email. I could have save a bit of money on a big order I wanted to place and was saving for such a sale. So they lost out on a nice big order, I lost out on a sale. But, obviously, they didn't care.
Also, they have a wishlist on their website and you can sign up to supposedly be notified when your wishlist items are back in stock but that only works about half the time and when it does, it usually notifies you several days after it was already back in stock. Frustrating because then if you are really wanting a certain plant, you need to just check every day to see when it comes back in stock. That is just ridiculous and time consuming and frustrating for us customers. But, I let them know this, and, yet again, they don't seem to care. They implied it was somehow my fault (how is it my fault I'm only sporadically being notified??) and couldn't care less. Again, horrible customer service when you need them the most (for concerns).

I've ordered from them for three years - yes, I never learn - and every time the plants arrive in horrible shape. Most die. They don't respond to emails and they don't replace dead plants or plants that are destroyed during shipping. I'm done.

I order quite a few plants online every year. This was my first time ordering from Annie’s Annuals, and it will be my last. The plants arrived broken and with limbs scattered around the box. One of the plants (a dahlia) had been “pruned,” but it literally looked like it had been chewed off. What a waste of time and money.

This spring I decided to create and dedicated a memorial garden to a lost love one who past away from a four year battle of bone cancer. As I started my endeavor I decided I wanted the garden to be a pollinator garden with only a majority of perennial plants that would rebloom over years in his memory.

I purchased my plants starting in late March and continued to do so up to the week of May 15, 2023 from Annie’s annuals and perennials located in Richmond California. As the orders came in I started to plant the plants and some of the pants died. Others were shipped with exposed roots as not enough topsoils was placed in the containers for the plants. As I started to contact this company they did not answer the phone initially and when they did I explained the situation and the reason for the garden and ask that they replace the plants that died. To date even knowing the reason for the garden they continue to respond to my requests with silence. I share this with you so you do not ended up in the same place I am in.

I ask you to be a wise consumer and view this as nothing more then another company that will not guarantee its product. In addition I suspect if a response is provide by this company it will be done for the readers benefit and not in response to its product. I ask that you think twice before purchasing anything from this company

I could end up spending thousands if I didn't have self-control. I love ordering plants from there. They always arrive in perfect condition and not even remotely root-bound. Someday I'm going to go visit in person.
