I used Anchor Removals to relocate from Manchester to South Gloucestershire, including a period of four weeks of storage. We also used their 'full packing' service.

From the first phone call to the office to book the home visit, through the quotation process, to the day the team turned up to pack up the possessions the whole experience was customer focused, as described, timely, and they took great care with all the possessions, both into and out of storage.

Everyone I spoke to both on site and at the office was polite, courteous, and could not do enough for you.

Communications started with Paul, clearly in the know when viewing the job. Ellen stayed in contact regularly before completion date and job availability, this was very assuring, Jane very helpful too. On the day Reece n Lewis were like a well oiled macine, packing and unpacking at pace. Great job

The three men you sent to help us move -absolutely amazing! Hottest day of the year and they did not complain once even at 33 degrees and moving all our stuff they did it with a smile and laugh. Loading of the van was a lot quicker than I thought and the unload was very quick to. All boxes and furniture handled with care.

Anchor removals moved us from Stockport to Chippenham, Wiltshire in early May 2026. From the outset, Anchor were very flexible in a period of uncertainty around our exchange and completion dates. In terms of the move itself, the team were very friendly and worked tirelessly to complete the job as quickly as possible, whilst taking great care where necessary. They also went above and beyond to unload all items from the truck on the evening, completing the work at 20:30. The efforts and service provided was greatly appreciated, and made a potentially stressful day stress free. I would recommend Anchor to anyone looking to move home. Thanks!

Fantastic service from start to finish.

Right at the planning stage of my move, everyone was fantastic. Very clear on what was being moved, timings and costs. No late changes or additions. The removal teams on both sides of the move were fantastic.

Very friendly but always professional service. The administrators were great while we tried to finalize a completion date. The crew on the day were slick and efficient but really helpful and took great care with the positioning of our furniture. Would recommend.

Cannot fault the service - it was excellent in every way - from beginning discussing the possibilities to the end - delivered on time and in Cornwall - no mean feat - 350 mile journey. Ladies in the office and the delivery team were exceptional.
