Kaleigh was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, happy to answer any questions and took her time to paint the picture of Anne Frank’s life. the VR tour of Anne’s house was worthwhile and the complimentary drink was appreciated. I highly recommend this tour.

I have been utterly infatuated with Amsterdam and its nearby cities ever since Covid when I first encountered Stephan doing virtual tours. His easy charm and friendly personality made him the perfect guide for probably hundreds of virtual tours. He is very knowledgeable and shares not only historical information but his own personal experiences and suggestions for tours. I was lucky enough to meet him in person in “New Amsterdam”, aka, NYC where I live and it was like being with an old friend- he was just as delightful in person as he had been for years virtually. Unfortunately for me, he was on a business trip to America when we visited Amsterdam last year, but he had done such a fabulous job with touring the highlights of the area that I was able to build my entire vacation on everything I had learned and experienced via his virtual tours, and it was spectacular! While we missed Stephan, we had a lovely dinner with his assistant, Kathrine who was another marvelous source of information and guidance during our trip. Probably my best experience with Stephan was during one of his virtual tours while I was still teaching 5th grade. Stephan had sent my classroom some windmill souvenir pencils, a mini cousin to his mascot Oskar the bear, and packages of stroopwafels and while giving his virtual tour, he’d stop and announce a random number for a student to win a pencil! He made them feel so special across the world and gave my classroom a shining example of the generosity, kindness, and thoughtfulness of the Dutch people. I couldn’t recommend his tour company more highly!

Stephan's planning, attention to detail, knowledge and heart are all top notch. He makes sure you get the best shots too.

I have known Stephan and his assistant since COVID started the virtual tours. Stephan and his company is a 5 star in every aspect. His tours are historical, with extensive research, his tours are fun, sometimes with great props, his serious tours are done with respect and reverance for the events,people and locations. Amsterdam Experiences is 5 star in every way!

Stephan is the best tour guide that I've ever encountered. He's charming, warm, and extremely knowledgable, and not only about the physical aspect of what is on view, but, and at least as important, the history of the building or object, and the cultural forces surrounding it. In short, if one could construc
t the perfect tour guide, he would turn out to be a replica of Stephan. So why bother, when he already exists.

Stephen is a wonderful guide. He's well prepared and passionate about the subject matter. I always learn something new and smile a lot during the tours. He's a gem of a guide!

Stephan is an excellent tour guide. I have joined many of his virtual tours. I very much hope that one day I will be able to join a tour in person. Stephen is a real asset and really brings Amsterdam and surroundings ( e.g. Giethoorn) to life.

Over the years, I have taken several virtual tours with Stephan van der Meer of Amsterdam Experiences. I have also gotten to know Kathrine Stokes as well. If you ever have the opportunity to take a tour with Amsterdam Experiences, whether it is virtual or in person, then do it! Both Stephan and Kathrine are very well informed, professional, warm and personable, and funny. The tours are the perfect length, not too long nor too short, and are well researched prepared. Plus I have been on diversity of tours -- everything from art museums to visiting tulip fields and windmills and Christmas markets to even taking a hot air balloon ride to get a unique view of the tulips below. The flower tours in Keukenhof Gardens are magnificent. It may sound hard to believe but even though these were virtual tours, I felt like I had really been to all these places! If you go on these tours, you will not only learn a lot but you will also laugh and have fun. Highly recommend. My only incentive in writing this review is that other folks will know about the tours and hopefully add them to their trip itinerary.

Stephan is the best!!!
His personality, knowledge, love of his country as well as his command of several languages make all interactions with him just lovely.

I have gone on so many of Stephan's virtual tours over the years and every one of them has been wonderful, fun and entertaining. Whether it is Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Belgium, or other wonderful places, Stephan is engaging and fun. I especially love his tours of the Keukenhof Gardens every spring.

Whatever Stephan and Amsterdam Experiences do, you know it is going to be good. He's a brilliant guide that knows how to show the best wherever he goes.

I did many virtuell Tours with Stephan, that make me wanna a Lot of places in Real Life.
2 years ago i did a Anne Frank Trip and before i visited the real House i did 'anne Franks Last walk' a perfect Combination.
This year i visited keukenhof and i book a Hotel near the keukenhof Parade for next year.

Every tour I've taken with Stephan has been wonderful. I was a Heygo addict during the pandemic and toured with him uncountable times. Balloon rides,kayaking, gardens and cheeses! Nowadays I catch him on YouTube or Facebook. Always fun and educational.

I've been on many virtual tours with Stephan over the past three years, and each one has been a joy filled memorable experience! His enthusiasm and eye for detail make for really unique tours as he shares the things other guides don't notice, and always with a smile! Thoroughly recommend his tours both online and in-person!

Beautiful Tours of Keukenhoff Gardens. Stephen does these tours on a regular basis when the gardens are open, and they are wonderful. The gardens are beautiful, and Stephen knows which parts of the gardens to take us to. I have taken numerous of these tours online and I always look forward to the next year's tours. The date below is an estimate; I can't find the exact date on my calendar, but I've done at least 5 of these tours.

Guide is completely clueless about Amsterdam or The Netherlands for that matter. Never use services like this.
