Honestly this company is by far the best out there, if I’d of found them 16 years ago when my journey began then it would have being a lot less stressful! They fight for you, they look after you, they make sure that you’re ok, they chase prescriptions so we don’t have too, nothing is too much trouble and even if you ring with just the most simple question, they actually take the time to make sure you’re happy and comfortable with how they’ve explained things. Then….. the stoma nurse team - wow, by far the best nurse I’ve ever dealt with and I’ve met a lot of nurses but these nurses are a level above!

Callum has been so helpful,after my last 2 surgery's my stoma changed a lot. He went the extra mile to help me find the right products for me. Being able to sample bags really helped me find what worked best for me

Iv had to wear a two piece ileostomy high output for 9 year but they had no products that were same make, so my base plate was convex and my bag high output dansac which for years Iv had loads of leaks, burst bags and was told there was nothing else, I have an inverted ileostomy which I’m in constant pain with the acid burning my skin constantly, so it’s agony, so saw an advert asked for sample and a man called Ruebun rang me sent me a matching two piece, ring, paste, and truthfully it’s the first time iv felt comfortable, and I was worrying about over night, as most nights I hardly sleep at all worrying about bag, the first night I never as I was waiting for it to happen as usual but it didn’t, so iv tried them for 4 days and I must say what a good difference, it’s only pain waking me up during night now, not my bag, they even sent a bag cover which you can dye any colour you want, but the bags have been that good iv changed to getting off them, and I must give praise to Rueben as well as spent a few hours talking to me about different bags and other things this company does like counselling, measuring for belt sizes which a lovely girl from Sheffield came to Durham to measure me, but I then spoke to Caroline as part of the welcome team which she is lovely too, which iv never had such a good experience with a company for stoma orders before, I will do another review in a couple of months to tell you how it’s going

I have had a stoma for almost 12 months, and still adapting to a certain extent. I noticed an advert for free samples of the Esteem Body Pouch.
I was contacted by Callum, who has been extremely helpful and so easy to communicate with.
After having tried the samples, and feeling much more comfortable and secure with them, I now have a product that suits me so much more.

I recently changed my stoma services over to Amcare and I am absolutely thrilled with the service I have received, especially from a pleasant gentleman named Reuben, he has listened to all my issues, recommended new products to help me which are fantastic, solved all of the stoma issues I was having and done it all in an extremely friendly helpful manner.
I have had my stoma since sept '25 and been having many issues and problems with the bags, Reuben and Amcare have solved all of these completely, the new bags by Convatec are fantastic and the service is even better. I cannot recommed them enough the whole team have been brilliant, helpful, caring and so friendly I feel I have a new circle of friends.

I would like to say how grateful and thankful I had a lady called Fiona phoning me without fail every Monday, even one afternoon she phoned me as I was coming out of hospital with my mum and son because we had carbon monoxide poisoning it was a very close call as a family and we could not have been here today if we didn’t here the alarm and Fiona literally went the extra mile for us because she knew my story on what I’ve already been through and she offered help, heaters, blankets, because everything had to shut off with no heating for days but Fiona went that extra mile even when it wasn’t to do with my stoma because I’d not yet had my operation till the 13 January but she was there still phoning me every Monday, but I was having an issue with the stoma bags from stoma nurses out of hospital they were irritating my skin, but Fiona still phoned me every Monday and I’d been using esteem body stoma bags and the material felt different no skin issues, no pain, and felt better when I put them on, I can not thank Fiona enough because she has been there not only as a person to promote the bags but she has listened to me, she has been there, she has cared about me my feelings and my thoughts, but actually helped me, and she told me that she only been there 6 months that I couldn’t tell, and I said to her I felt like you was my counsellor but that’s because you actually cared and you listened and helped me not just to find the right bag but to tell me it’s my choice and that will stay with me thank you so much

House bound leaks up to 3 times a day life was hell then I called a guy called kevin who just over a phone call changed my life a very caring service that offer so much more than other companies and the product is outstanding no leaks comfortable and gave me my confidence back thank you to all of the guys that work here your amazing

I have been using Amcare for over a year now and they have made my life so much more relaxed. They call me every month and that means I don’t have to contact my doctors first and then worry that the script is ordered.
They are always very helpful and answer any questions I ask.
The delivery is swift and if I need anything quick it has not been an issue.
Highly recommend them - my last supplier caused me a lot of anxiety with delays.

This company does not know the meaning of no..my cancer is incurable..upsetting enough..i have asked for the last six months to stop sending me 4 packs of stoma bags a month.. no joy 4 kept on coming...on 8 jan i spoke to someone on phone to explain situation and cancel my account with them..to no satisfaction today have sent prescription to my doctors. this is stealing from overstretched nhs.. its actually upsetting and thoughtless...

Every Staff member is so helpfull in every way , knowledge ,and making sure You have everything You need , Fiona has made my life so much better by changing my Urostomy bags , I dont like change but if its going to change my day to day life its worth it , I have always had a positive experience with Amcare , and that makes all the differance in the way you feel in yourself .

I received fantastic support from Umair - he understood my stoma needs better than I did. His advice was spot on and because of that I have now switched over to a new product. He couldn’t have been more helpful and it is great peace of mind to know I can just pick up the phone.
