And this arrived with a broken pump

Burnt within an hour and some of the worst sunburn I've ever had. Applied to while body in June Portugal sun and was burnt within an hour while the rest of my family (who used a different sun cream) didn't burn at all. Will never be going near again and would recommend people stay as far away as possible. Might as well have not worn any suncream at all.

The products themselves are really good, I use the skin pigmentation and redness cream on my face and the clear spray on my arms

I unfortunately made a mistake on my last order and I ordered 2 pigmentation and redness tubes and 2 pigmentation and redness tubes light after realising my error I contacted customer service straight away but it took that long for a reply the parcel had already been dispatched before the email was read, on receipt of my order I again emailed the company to request a return! Once again it took 7 days to get a reply, I then parcelled up the unopened tubes and posted them in the original packaging to altruist using tracking, The package arrived at the company last Friday 12th June yet I haven’t been contacted to confirm this or received my refund! I really think this reflects badly on you as a company and although I like your product the lack of customer service is very off putting.

Excellent sunscreen, my second year using…..provided very good protection whilst in Greece and during heatwaves here in UK. Leaves no residue, not sticky and no scent. It’s affordable, effective and helps support the company’s charities.

I’ve been using Altruist for a couple of years now since reading about them in the Guardian.
I use the sunscreen products such as Face Fluid SPF 50. The range is no nonsense with basic packaging. It’s well priced, the despatch and delivery is effective and efficient and the products do what they say.
Out of everything, I’ve found the product with ‘super powers’ is Altruist Hand Repair Cream. I use this overnight wearing gloves once applied. This keeps my aging gardeners hands in good condition ready to do the next full days work. I’ve also been gifting it round the family and people like it

De kleur na t opbrengen is goed maar deze crème gaat enorm pillen en ik haal allerlei stukjes crème van mijn huid die niet oplossen. Alles geprobeerd, deppen, in laagjes smeren maar helpt niet. Het gaat in je haarlijn zitten en je rubt t zo van je huid af. Teleurgesteld.

Avoid! Order hasn’t arrived. It’s clear from the Royal Mail tracking that it’s lost. Customer service are extremely slow at replying and said they’ll ‘investigate’. They’ve given me no indication of how long this will take! I have no order and they’ve taken my money.

I am leaving this review as I want the company to listen.
Their skin creams are amazing and I have no complaint about them and will continue to use them.
However their invisible sun spray bootle and dispenser is faulty and needs to be recalled and redesigned as it simply does not work efficiently. I have brought possibly about 10 bottles over the last 18 months and every one of them has failed within 0 to 5 applications before the bottle is anything near empty.
So although your sunscreen product might be brilliant, it's no good if the delivery system doesn't work. When I brought this to customer services attention their response was try washing the the nozzle under a tap and try again.... did this and failed again.
Let me tell you from customers point of view what happens - I'm playing golf, I try and apply sunscreen while out on the fairway, it fails, I give it a shake, it fails again, I try to blow to clear the nozzle pour water from my bottle, it hisses and fails again. It gets binned. I go to a shop to buy some more sunscreen - there is a choice between Altruist SunSpray or another product....... guess which one I buy. Please listen and deal with this problem, it is very annoying.

I like the products but the customer service appears none existent. I recently placed an order direct and one of the products has an expiry date of less than 4 months. I have written to them twice and had no response. I would be very wary of ever order online from them again

I've been using the spf 50 oily skin sunscreen as I find the majority of sunscreens leave my face oily.
This product is brilliant, matte finish is great. A friendly said how pale I looked the other day so it must be working. I've used the main spf50 on my arms and back neck and it is not greasy compared to ost I've used. Both products go on great an only take a few minutes to dissappear.
My go to brand, it's also very reasonable price.

I can honestly say, without hesitation, that this is the worst skincare product I have ever used. I chose Altruist based upon press articles and certain online reviews, opting for SPF50 in spray form, following the application instructions to the letter and applying a significant covering. After about one hour in the Spanish sun I was left with painful sunburn on my front. I chose this product because I read that it had been developed by skincare experts and ironically, it has been the cause of my worst sunburn for quite some time. I did note that some reviewers suffered the same experience but decided to give Altruist the benefit of the doubt - I wish I hadn't. My advice to anyone considering purchasing this brand is to avoid at all costs and save yourself the pain and misery of getting burnt. The only positive part of this experience is that I believe that some of the profits go towards charitable contributions.

AMAZING. Highly recommended. Was using the garnier but this one is much better and better still … cheaper !

I am incredibly impressed with this product. It rubs in very easily, with no residue and no smell. These two factors mean that I have already used more sunscreen protection during this heatwave than I would ever have done otherwise. So far, it has provided good protection from burning.

Delivery was very quick and minimal packaging has been used.
Highly recommend and I am unlikely to use any other sunscreen going forward.

I have been using the cleanser, I love the product, my skin has never looked so good however the bottle that the cleaners is in the pump is getting stuck down all the time and it happens on every bottle. I have tried but not had any luck with contacting Altrust directly as I would love them to re look at the bottles as I would love to continue buying if the bottle was improved as the actual product is great for my skin.

I thought finally a reasonably priced but serious sunscreen company. The sunscreen spf50 seems good, very much like a liquid so probably why it isn't clogging pores. The day and night cream I'm having mixed results, getting a few spots/dryness. Was really excited to try the anti redness spf50 tinted stuff and although it seems to go nicely on skin and certainly gets rid of all redness it was very orange. There needs to be a lighter colour as it was ridiculous and I had to take it off. Too dark and orangey 😟

Bought the anti-redness pigmentation cream, absolute game changer, a beautiful SPF 50, it's so good on your face, I'm using it as a tinted moisturizer.
Purchased Sunscreen, I got a free body lotion and hand cream.
What I love about their products they don't feel sticky or leave a residue after application.
I'm sold.
This is my go to Sunscreen provider.

How on earth do I open the spray bottle? There are no instructions on the label. There's a red "lock" which I have opened but when I try to use the spray the cream starts to leak from the neck of the bottle rather than from the spray nozzle. I shall return it for a refund.
