Annabelle has been fantastic to deal with throughout our process in finding the perfect home. She has been so kind, thoughtful and most importantly she has listened to everything we have requested. We have been fortunate enough to find that home and have every faith in Annabelle to guide us through this exciting time. I would highly recommend Annabelle to anyone thinking of buying a new home. Sophie has been amazing too and so friendly.

My wife and I are looking to move our family into the Norwich area, and we discovered THE OAKS development. We booked an appointment at the marketing suite and were seen by ANNABELLE.
Annabelle was extremely thorough in her assessment of our needs and recommended the most appropriate homes before taking us to view them.
We fell in love with a property and Annabelle helped to explain the purchase process and helped us to reserve our (hopefully) new home!!

Sophie and Annabelle are very knowledgeable about the homes, financial options and the development. They are friendly and were good at following up my initial contact.They set realistic expectations about the build completion.

I have had a fantastic experience at The Oaks, right from my first visit to today- 5th day here.
Sophie has been amazing assisted by Annabelle. Always on hand and going the extra mile with a lovely manner and bright smile, despite my persistent phone calls and drop ins. Steve has also been brilliant - very informative and again service with a smile. Between them they have sorted all the little issues I have had in quick time.
All staff on site have been very friendly and helpful which has meant moving in on my own has been a pleasure and not stressful at all.
I am very pleased with my Dogwood and would like to thank all at Allison Homes.

We booked an appointment with Sophie at the Oaks to initially look at the Aspen, Sophie was friendly, knowledgable, wanted to understand us as people and was not pushy.

Sophie said we could view the Walnut in a few days time and she thought we may also like this. We came to this appointment and were really surprised at how much we liked it. Sophie had really understood what we wanted as a couple and helped us find our dream home.

Some other developers have made us feel like they are just interested in a sale. Sophie didn’t once make us feel like this, she asked us questions, we had a laugh together and we felt reassured that she would do everything she could to progress things along.

Sophie Willoughby at The Oaks has been an absolute joy to deal with, no pressure from her and understood our requirements and went the extra mile to make us feel like we were a priority and looked after. Whenever we’ve needed an answer she’s been clear and helpful and even dealt with our whirlwind children in the office calmly!

At first, Alison Homes seemed great. The sales process with Sophie was smooth and professional, and we were genuinely excited about moving forward. We only changed our mind because the house we reserved (Plot 239) had a clear lack of storage compared to similar homes in the same price bracket. It wasn’t a reflection on Alison Homes as a whole, and we fully expected we might revisit them in the future. But after this experience, never again.

In the sales process, we were urged that there were many bookings for this house today and we better act fast but reassured that we were entitled to 14 days cooling off period if we changed our minds. We cancelled in good faith within our 14 days and were given written confirmation that our £500 holding deposit would be refunded in full on 28 July 2025. That was almost a month ago. We are still waiting.

Since then, the service has been an absolute disgrace:

The Regional Sales Manager, Charlotte, ignored three separate messages this week.
When I did manage to get her on the phone, i was greeted with “oh I know what you are after” and fobbed off with empty promises.
Sophie, who sold us the house, has completely stopped responding to my emails.
It’s hard to overstate just how bad this looks. If Alison Homes can’t be trusted to return a £500 holding deposit they promised in writing, how on earth could anyone trust them with a six-figure house purchase, let alone the aftercare, snagging, and warranty issues that come with a new build?

This has gone from being a company we might have bought from in the future to one we will never touch again. If you value honesty, reliability, and basic customer service, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

My partner and I recently visited The Oaks in Norwich as we’re considering a move from Peterborough — and we had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Sophie! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel as welcome as if we were visiting family — warm, friendly, and full of genuine care. Sophie gave us all the information we needed and made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. We’ll definitely be staying in touch! She sold me my first home and was amazing and by coincidence I have come across her again whilst looking for my second!

Donna was well prepared for my arrival, informative and gave me plenty of time to view the show homes.

Although at the beginning we had a bit of a bad communication, but Ryan at Allison Holmes has been great and helped us through some of the issues we had with our gardens, they are currently being rectified.
But have promised to deliver and resolve the issues with our gardens

I bought my home from Allison Homes The Oak.I Can’t recommend the customer service enough Donna went out of her way to make sure all the adjustments I requested were done to my house before moving into it. She was with me from the very first day till after moving . Explained everything, respond quickly to all my enquiries and I had a lot as first time buyer. After moving I had few minor things need done and louise ( the snagging team) had it done on the same day. Very high quality and beautiful homes with high quality customer service. Highly recommended

Donna was so helpful from start to finish. She’s an absolute credit to the oaks and definitely was one of the reasons we purchased. The development itself is beautiful and houses to such a high standard. We dealt with Donna and Charlotte more than anyone from the oaks and couldn’t thank them enough for all their help. Would definitely recommend and we are super excited for our future here.

We are currently going through the house buying process - Donna at the Oaks has been amazing from the moment I went to the sales office to enquire about one of the builds. I had not expected to be able to begin the process there & then but it couldn’t have been made any simpler! There’s so much to take in but Donna has answered all of our questions and made sure we have been informed about everything we need to consider/know. It’s a daunting experience (especially being first time buyers) but we are very very happy we have decided to go with Allison Homes - Donna has gone above and beyond and we couldn’t recommend Allison Homes enough because of her.

Our experience of purchasing a house for my mum at The Oaks development got off to a tricky start to be honest with delays and lack of communication from the office.
Then along came Donna a pure joy to work with who within weeks communicated openly and honestly, dealt with problems head on and made the whole experience a great one.

5* From the start Steve put himself out as we were a long distance buyer, we went through various buying options, in the end we found a buyer and moved in early June, Donna Riddell completed the sale when Steve went to another site. Fantastic house and ideal location, only couple of minor snaggs, 95% already sorted ( 4 weeks later) thanks to Louise, it been a dream come true. Charlotte stayed late to allow us to travel up and complete same day, thanks all.

Simon Couch was the sales person when we initially looked, he was absolutely brilliant and totally the reason we chose Allison Homes. When we purchased, Max had taken the position and was equally as friendly and helpful.
We love our house, the after care has been good...Lou gets things sorted quickly and although I think there have been a few changes in site management....we have had the usual few snags as expected with a new home and all have been rectified.
