Wow, the service was really great. I especially liked the initial consultation. You were able to find the perfect specialist for all my needs.

Terrible follow up. Therapist was suppose to schedule appointment and never heard back and when I emailed the head office. No response. Do not trust this place as therapy is suppose to be safe.

Helped me to give perspective to my thoughts/feelings. Gave me a chance to get off my personal merry go round.

I created significant relationships with the 2 therapists who were assigned to me. They both helped me navigate some heavy challenges and provided me with tools to work with. This is a definite source of affordable therapy - I highly recommend using them.

Alli therapy has helped me get through one of the hardest times in my life. My therapist has been extremely understanding and helpful. She has worked so hard to tailor her recommendations and advice to what she could understand as my values and beliefs and I’m truly so thankful to her for going above and beyond for me.

I tried two therapists one was really good but quit the program and after that one I had 1 consultation with another therapist and she sent me an email later after telling me I was a very big screwed up person and she hadnt learnt how to deal with me. Alii Therapy is a good resource for most general mental health and therapy needs. You are, however, getting what you pay for. It may take a few tries to get a therapist who you can work with and the therapist will either be a very newly established person (if you pay their higher rate) or a therapist completing their Masters degree under the supervision of a professional. While these options are fine for a great many issues, unfortunately, the complex bundle of trauma and depression and other stuff I’m dealing with is beyond their pay grade. I would advise people to give it a try but make sure to do your research and see if it’s the right fit for you.

I have worked with 2 fourth year students so far and my experience was great! It didn't feel any different than when I went to see a counselor in the past. They were both very knowledgeable and helpful and kind. I always recommend Alli to others.

I used Alli for a little over a year, from about February 2024 up to April 2025. I opted for the most affordable tier, seeing a student who is doing their practicum hours through Alli; my first therapist was wonderful and extremely helpful in managing my transition at the end of my first long-term relationship. She graduated and moved on, and Alli allowed me the opportunity to try a new therapist at the same level in the fall of 2024, who helped me fight back against my anxiety and manage my winter blues as well as getting back into the dating pool. Alli provided me an affordable way to get help when I needed it, and I'm really grateful. 10/10 would recommend!

After leaving university/college I felt lost. I was unable to afford therapy due to the high cost of most therapists. I always had the desire to find someone to talk to and help me cope with life's stresses but was unable to find anyone. While scrolling on instagram I found an ad for Alli Therapy. A good first start, especially if you don't have benefits that will cover other therapists.
Pros: Cheap, helpful, better than nothing, great short-term solution.
Cons: Inexperienced therapsists, heavy focus on CBT. You're learning coping mechanism but not resolving the underlying issues.

I have been matched with two different therapists over a 1.5 year period, and had a phenomenal experience with both. The price is accessible, processes are seamless, and the services have been incredibly beneficial to my life, and 100% worth every penny.

I was not impressed with therapy I received face to face or on zoom from psychologists locally. On Alli I was able to evaluate therapists first and found a therapist that I connected with early on in therapy. I am still working on changing my way of thinking and improving my life, by extension, but I am hopeful.

My experience at Alli therapy was amazing! The therapist and the ones I have matched were all great, listening to my concerns, how to make better goals for myself and working together on it, seeing how I was doing every session along with the personal and deep talks we had. I felt comfortable talking and sharing my concerns and needs to them.

Convenient and easy to connect. My therapist was very good and made me feel comfortable. I was able to easily open up to them and was provided with good resources and therapy.
