In some strange way, with over 9 million users there feels like there is an intimacy on Alignable that is different than any other platform. There is also a common theme of “how can we all help each other” as opposed to “how can you help me”. This is a culture that I believe has been intentionally created and nurtured by the developers of Alignable and it makes for such a lovely experience

Especially Effective in Networking
I have been a member of Alignable for several months now but I did not actively investigate the benefits of membership until this month. I especially found the Events tab on the site to be very effective in networking. There are usually 3 to 4 daily opportunities to network with other business owners, my main client target.

I have made more connections on Alignable than on any other platform. Most recently I connected with a filmmaker in Delaware that I had met on the platform, and the Local Business Person of the Year caused me to reconnect. I believe we will be making films together.

Alignable offers lots of valuable networking. I've booked some work through the site through the connections I've made. I know many small businesses who say the same thing. The connections bring in clients.

There are so many people taking advantage out there. It is amazing. So, here comes another enterprise that I thought was a part of another company that I've had dealings with. Not! Even though they sounded like it, all Alignable was doing is using my contact to get to me, so I would sign up! Then, after I am in the door Google contacts me this last Wednesday and tells me someone has accessed my account other than me... and did I GIVE them access? And if not I need to change my password. What??? No!! I cannot believe it! They have the gall to actually go into my account? --> IF they WERE actually asking for access to my account there is no way I would have given it! They are not above board!

We are sorry you feel upset about this. We do our very best to make sure all communication on Alignable is as transparent as possible. When you click "invite" or "add to network" emails are sent out to the contacts you select. In your case, you may have invited a few or added all of your contacts. Depending on the actions you took more or fewer email invites would have been sent out.
At this point, I would like to provide you some assurance as to what we will never do. We will never contact anyone in our customer's address books without their permission. We do not sell or rent their contacts either.

You are correct, Alignable and LinkedIn are two different platforms. For the most part LinkedIn is free. Whereas I'd have to pay to get the same product / service on Alignable.
