I have bought fabric for dressmaking from Alice Caroline in the past and always been happy with the beautiful quality of the fabric and the packaging. I’ve always enjoyed looking at the lovely fabrics on the website and imagining the things I could make and reading the inspiring ideas in the site. So, when I decided recently that it was time for me to learn to quilt I knew exactly which way to turn. To my delight it found exactly what I was looking for in the Alice’s Wonderland Quilt. This is a fantastic start to quilt making, especially for an experienced sewist, as it is a sampler quilt, taking you through a raft of different techniques as you make the 100 blocks. Each little block feels like a manageable moment of creativity in a week otherwise crammed with work, children and life. The rainbow of glorious colours, quality of the fabric and ever changing patterns are a dopamine dream. What a joy! I’m in heaven.

When I buy from this site we only have the picture on the screen to go by. I have always been impressed how true to life the fabric is. The fabrics are always just perfect to the colour and quality I have expected.
