Alford came to solve a difficult heating issue in our public building, they were super professional, approachable and explained what they were doing in great layman's terms, they quickly bought in specialists for the difficult parts of the job who were equally as brilliant and the job was resolved quickly. We will never use any of their services again.
Upon we requested non emergency repair, engineering visit was scheduled few days after. The visit took only 10minutes as the issue with out toilet stopped the night before so repair wasn’t really needed, but we were still charged for half an hour service at call out rate.

I'm very sorry to hear that you're disappointed in our service. Should you have cancelled the 8am appointment, there would have been no charge. Sadly my engineer obtained materials for your toilet, in case needed, drove to your home and unpacked his tools. You then agreed that he check your toilet, which he did. In our terms and conditions we could claim the full amount, however on this occasion we decided that 1/2 the amount was fair for his 1/2 hour.

Very happy customer.
Had to call Alford plumber out on an emergency as my boiler was leaking, Phil came promptly at the time I was texted,the same day.He found the fault and efficiently fixed it.I was expecting a huge bill,for callout, part and labour. I was very surprised at the reasonable cost.

Excellent work from an experienced team
They arrived as per appointment, the 2 young engineers were courteous, polite and took pride in their work. they explained exactly what they were doing and advised us of the changes necessary as the job progresses, they also left our house clean and tidy.
I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent Work, after a Shaky Start !
The job didn't start too well after Ashton was issued with the wrong specialist OEM kit to service our cistern.
But the most important thing was, that instead of getting back in his van, he then went about devising a work around. After speaking to the manufacturer's technical helpline he managed to turn things around and successfully finish the job without out any drama.
A credit to his company

I contacted Alfords on a Friday at…
I contacted Alfords on a Friday at 11.30am.
At 3.30, Tyler the fitter turned up and diagnosed the problem for me.
He managed to get the pump going, but waited for 15 minutes to check.
When the pump stopped again he rushed out to get a new pump before 5pm.
He then came back and fitted the pump so we had hot water.
Best plumbing service I have used and would fully recommend them for customer service and price

Boiler Repair
This was the first time I had used Alford Plumbing and Heating and was extremely pleased with the choice. Having had a boiler issue, they were able to attend promptly and resolve the fault quickly and without any fuss. The engineer was polite, punctual and extremely tidy while fixing the problem. I can happily recommend their service and will be using them again should the need arise.

New boiler installation
I was really pleased with the new boiler that Alford Plumbing and Heating fitted for me. The fitters were polite, friendly and professional and the work was carried out to a high standard and they took the time to explain all the new buttons and functions. I also thought they were good on price. I would highly recommend and will use them again in the future.
