Stores are picky towards who they hire, strict on requirements & even more strict on rules that even 1 mistake will make them boot you out without a care in the world.

Coolock branch such an as**hole of a guard.when it was my turn to pay at the till, the guard walked to the back of the cashier standing there watching me while the cashier scanned the items. Making me embarrassed as all the customers were looking at me. What was the point of that? That screams immigrant discrimination! This affected my mental health. I will do something about this if my mental health gets worst. I will boycott Aldi from now on. I'm a regular customer for years but got treated like sh%t.

Bought American Style streaky bacon. Low quality and bad taste.

Never had any issue with aldi in the ennis store. Staff are very friendly and I love their food. Unfortunately like everywhere else the food is gone up quite a bit but I still feel I get more for my money there than in other stores. The store is always very clean and easy to find what I'm looking for.

Cashier having conversation with someone else, while completely ignoring me. Took few minutes before she decided to actually serve me without even saying hello or anything else.

Longford store.
Its manky dirty.
The trolleys are always at the far end of the carpark.
Holes literally a foot deep in the carpark.
Constant shortages that are dismissed by the shop AND the online team.
Rubbish strewn everywhere.
Trolleys full of rubbish.
Bins overfull.
Used to be a fine place but rapidly falling downhill.

Do not by purchase Ferrex tools in Aldi, they sell the tools (which are decent for the price) but they DO NOT stock replacement battery chargers or batteries. All my tools are Ferrex and the battery charger stopped working, which leaves me with no working tools. When i enquired in Leixlip ALDI i was told to keep a look at the specials for them. LIDL carry batteries and chargers for their Parkside products.

the food drop i quality in fizz, chocolate, biscuit, sausage roll, baked beans will no long shop of these item

Dreadful service for anyone doing online shopping and expecting everything to go smoothly. Replacement good not suitable and cannot get refunded. Avoid.

Went done my shopping last night coming upto 240e for what I got is a disgrace aldi have put so much up on their prices in thease hard times .I do re kon ill try dunnes next week as at least they give u back something and price are relly good over 6year shopping in aldi were I live and so many years in different town its 2costly now

THESE SILLY FELLAS ROBBED ME DRY, THEY STOLE MY CLOTHES, MY WALLET, MY PHONE, HEAQDPHONES AND SHOES! IM NOT EVEN MAD ABOUT THAT THAT WAS THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF SHOPPING THERE, THE FLOORS WERE YELLOWING AND STICKY, THE EMPLOYEES WERE MOUTH BREATHERS AND INCELS, THE COOKIE I GOT WAS SO ROCK SOLID I USED IT AS A CLAY PIDGEON AND NEARLY DIED, WHEN I SHOT IT THYE BULLET EXPLODED AND FIRED SHRAPNELL EVERYWHERE NEARLY HITTING ME, THE AUTOMATIC DOORS CLOSED ON ME TOO WHICH WAS DISRESPECTFUL THAT THEY COULDNT SENSE ME AS AN ACTUAL HUMAN BEING... BOO

Bought one of the microwave cabbage and ham meals in Tallaght Cross for a quick meal at work.
Long story short..There were stones in the food. Only noticed when I was chewing and cracked one my teeth.
Customer care head office were less than helpful, I should have e just gone back to the store. Was offered an e voucher for 10 pound for the inconvenience, which doesn't even work in the ROI. Shocking

On 30/12/2023 I shopped at Aldi on the headford Road in galway to receive change of two twenty euros notes and one was missing almost half the note. I returned the following day to return it and was accused of lying and was told to take it to the bank. Upon telling my ex partner about the encounter he went there and was eventually able to have it exchanged. Sexism or something else? Still not sure.

Aldi has a great choice, of excellent quality products and at a very affordable price.

Purchased Aldi's specially selected ham for 26.99 in Naas (it came in a box which hide a multitude of issues). It was an absolute disgrace. The picture in the brochure was deceitful. I certainly will not be purchasing an Aldi ham again.

Aldi in Killaloe, a very bad style of management, I won’t blame the staff, but the management who train their staff outlining their sales strategy within a specific store, only to increase sales to increase their sale bonus, without giving back any respectful for people, very very bad.
because they won't allow customers to take more than one compostable free bag to pack your vegetables and fruits???

Definitely this is harming the brand and a big advantages for any other supermarket to compete with Aldi

Aldi in Newcastle west Co. Limerick, staff horrible. One Australian man in particular. Who Watched my 2 year old push a pram from their shop around as it occupied him as I finished my shopping, he was loud but with excitement as he is 2 years of age, came to me and asked do I want it I said not today but It was great it kept him happy while I got to do my shopping so he took it off of my 2 year old to put it back to where it belongs and my child was very upset and did not understand why he took it away from him. Horrible. Clearly does not have kids to know that a peaceful shopping experience is all a mother wants.

Aldi Athenry. Very poor selection in comparison to similarly sized stores elsewhere. Had to travel to oranmore for my desired product.

Called in this morning.
Went to checkout and girl said she was closing.
No bother.
Went to next till.
Seen an elderly man not steady on his feet put an item on belt.
Assistant told him she was closing.
I left elderly man go ahead of me.
He was clearly struggling.
A woman approached till that was apparently closing and was left pile shopping up without a bother!!
Normally I wouldn't say anything but looking an the elderly man after been turned away.
I felt bad for him.
When assistant was finished.
I went over and said quietly that it wasn't a nice thing she did.
Refusing me and especially the elderly man and excepting a woman.
I said this was ageism and sexiest.
She turned and answered 'SO'
Turned her back on me.
I asked to speak to manger.
Turns out she was manger
I asked for name.
She covered her badge and wouldn't give it.
If this store is been managed by this woman.
God help the other staff.
She clearly had no empathy for the elderly and Disabled.
I certainly won't be returning to this store.
