Arrogant accountants who don't want your business
Their website says no commitment until you hire us but their immediate response to my request for a 15 minute "quick chat" (something THEY offer as an option to book) was to immediately ask me to pay them $125 for a full consultation. That is the complete opposite of "No commitment until you hire us."
When I told them I would still prefer to start with the 15 minute phone call, they told me they didn't need my business and compared themselves to doctors and lawyers as a justification for why a 15 minute introductory phone call is beneath them. They instead told me their "generously provided" FAQ (which they admit is written by AI) is a suitable replacement for an introductory phone call. So these egomaniacs are claiming they are professionals on par with doctors and lawyers, then turning around and pointing you to AI slop on their website instead of giving you 15 minutes of their time. Pretty appalling and unprofessional, in my opinion.
If they are using AI to take shortcuts with their online presence, then God only knows what else they are doing with AI and your sensitive personal financial information. Stay far away from these self important accountants if you value being treated like a valuable client instead of an annoying inconvenience.
