I’ve worked with a lot of editors and most of them need constant revisions or overcomplicate the cut. Afterrender has been the opposite. The edits come back clean, pacing is tight, and they actually understand how content needs to flow to keep people watching.
What I like most is that I don’t have to micromanage every detail. I can send the footage and the direction once and the final cut is usually very close to what I had in mind. Turnaround has been fast and communication is straightforward.
If you’re a creator that cares about retention and clean edits, they do a solid job.
