Been a long time since I needed to hire a car (decades) so didn't really know what the "process" was. After submitting online, had a phone call to confirm what I needed (which actually needed to change; so it was good to be able to discuss in person).
Had a courtesy follow up call the day later to re-confirm and go over the process again.

Now confident in knowing what to do next when I need to hire another car in the future.

Car was brilliant!

The van was booked and paid for, the day prior to the hire, where it was clearly stated that a 3 piece suite was being moved.
The van provided was not ready at 8.30am and had previously been used for moving builders rubble. It had been mopped through but remnants of the dust remained and it was dripping wet inside. I asked for a dry mop, non was available, so I personally used the wet mop to try to remove some of the moisture. This had limited success.
Given that it was clearly stated what the van was to be used for the day before, I was frankly appalled at what I was provided with to do the job. For a company to operate a fleet of vehicles as you do, I cannot understand why there would not be some sort of segregation on the uses that the vans are put to. To be clear, BUILDERS RUBBLE AND SOFT FURNITURE DO NOT MIX!!!

Everything went to plan! Car was lovely and clean cant really fault anything

The chap who showed my round the van when I picked it up was informative, thorough and easy to chat to. All was fine and it was easy to drop it off whenever it suited me. The only slight negative was that there was no secure place to park my own vehicle, so I had to leave it on a quiet public nearby road.

Warm and friendly people wouldn’t go anywhere else
