I wasn't able to determine the manufacturer of the windows in my current home to order standard replacement screens so I was pleased to come across Affordable Screen Company. I didn't have complete confidence in my measuring skills but they are perfect! I thought the price was more than reasonable for custom and shipping was fast. Thank you!

I contacted Affordable Screen Company after seeing an advertisement on Facebook. They were quick to respond so I started looking at what all they have to offer which lead to several questions and several back and forth emails. Once I had all the information I wanted I placed my order for eleven screens to do all my house windows. They look great, fit perfectly and hopefully will last as long or longer than the previous ones. I’m very pleased with my purchase from start to finish. And since we’re practically neighbors they shipped them out and I had them the next day.

I just received my screens. They are perfect. What a wonderful job. I received them in just under two weeks. They were well packaged for shipping making it nearly impossible for damage to occur. They fit perfectly and the quality is excellent!

I order 5 Storm Windows for my barn and they arrived on time (in 8 weeks) and the quality is top notch. I had some questions about how to remove the screens and customer support called me right back.
No issues and great quality for the price. I would highly recommend these guys 100%.

These guys are scam artists and liars. I ordered some window screen parts on 8/2/2025. It should have been a quick, easy order. Put some parts into a box and ship. I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks. I contacted the company. They said "They're working on it." Nothing for another week or so. I goto Paypal and submit a dispute (not a claim) allowing the seller to respond. No response. I then upgrade the dispute to a claim. NOW they respond. They only have 1 or 2 more days to put in a shipping tracking number or Paypal would automatically rule against them, so they entered into Paypal a FAKE tracking number to delay the dispute. What a bunch of scam artists. They finally said they "overlooked my order" and agreed to refund my order. Stay away from these guys. They suck!

My initial order arrived damaged, but Affordable Screen Company quickly sent replacements. Unfortunately, the replacement order was incomplete and incorrect. After 16 back-and-forth emails with customer service, the end result was a partial refund—and four windows still without screens. I do not recommend Affordable Screen Company.

On October 8th we placed an order for a custom window replacement screen from Affordable Screens.The website instructions were easy to understand. We appreciated the attention to detail and the reminder to measure twice!

When the screen arrived this week, we could not have been more impressed with the packing. At the time of the order, we were a little surprised at the $31 shipping charge, but realized shipping is only “free” on Amazon! The screen was carefully placed in a box with a custom wood frame that kept it perfectly protected during shipping and delivery. The box was sealed all around with tape that said “FRAGILE.” Wow!

Thank you for demonstrating the kind of care a family owned business shows its customers. If we need a replacement screen again we know who to contact!

Ordered five huge storm windows for my Lanai. Took a while to receive but I love the windows. My only complaint is one screen had a small tear and EVERY window (not screens) the slide bolt to slide and lift the window was broken on every one & had to replace (reason for 4 stars). I would still order again through this company.

I'm very happy with my new window screens. Well built and arrived in pristine condition. Well worth the 12 week wait. Custom made and you can't beat the price. We had some windows that needed replacement storm windows that weren't standard sizes available in big box stores. I will definitely not hesitate to order again in the future. Also customer service was responsive to emails and voice messages and were very helpful with explaining how to measure for your preference (which I was a little nervous about as I am the furthest thing from a carpenter). Easy installation. Did it ourselves.

Ordered the screens and the arrived timely in the 7 to 8 working day statement. Checked measurements on all screens and they were cut exact. They guy that reviewed and in December 2023 and was upset they refunded his money? What a cry baby. I installed the same way he was crying about and drilled my own holes. Affordable screen even made sure I had no see um screen after my order was in and I called customer service. No complaints except I wish they would have identified each screen dimensions but I can read a measuring tape and it worked out.

I called Affordable Screens to check if they could drill extra holes as if I were using plunger pins. I wanted to use the holes to direct screw the screens to existing porch posts. They agreed they could.

About a week later I had the measurements and called in an order of 12 screens, all custom sized for the renovated porch. $458.48.

Four days later a manager/owner or whoever he was, contacted me. He said his company did not agree with the type of installation I was doing. Huh?!

An email from Affordable reads:

Hi Michael,

Sorry, we just do not feel what you are trying to do is going to work the way you feel it is because of our experience with the frame material.

We have canceled your order. Please allow 24-48 hours for it to be reflected on your statement.

I was stunned! I didn’t know I had to clear my project with Affordable and told him so. He had no clue I had installed “outside” shaped pvc molding that framed out each window. I told him this and how ridiculous it was that I had to explain myself. I wasn’t about to beg someone to take my $458 and asked for a refund.

Some people insert themselves in others business to inflate their own importance.

10-30-2023. This is in response to your reply. Let’s be accurate. You were cordial on the telephone though you cancelled my order before I explained the opening was framed.

I was highly annoyed to say the least. I did ask for the refund and said I would review Affordable on social media. You then gave me the option you wrote about in your reply. My option was to sign a waiver of liability. Obviously by your offering a waiver, you weren’t concerned about the safety of the installation. You were more worried about my review and the $458.

You did save me money, I purchased the parts to make the screens myself.

The extra large custom sliding screen door I ordered assembled in about an hour and fit perfectly.
I got a nice follow up e-mail from Customer service to make sure I was 100% satisfied. Great product for low price.

Great communication and reliability. The whole process of ordering storm windows as well as completion date was smooth. Excellent customer service!

I ordered the 7/16 X 1 frame parts along with the metal corners that fit inside the frame. This requires cutting the frame stock at a 45-degree angle. All these items worked very well, and the completed frame is robust for sure, unlike the puny stuff you might buy at HD or Lowes. I am very pleased!

What a waste of time and over priced. I ordered 2 kits the same size down to the 1/8th inch. When the kit arrived, the frame was a standard 36X72, not the custom size I ordered. So I had to cut each piece myself. I then proceeded to roll the spline in and it was too big. According to their own chart I needed a 0.115” spline. I had to go to Home Depot and the smallest they had was 0.125” and I fought with that for hours getting it in. If I was going to have to cut the frames I would have purchased everything from Home Depot and saved some money. Why was I asked for the size down to the 1/8th inch? Good question. Other reviews stated that they do not take anything back but will give you a discount on future orders. Not for me with this sorry excuse of a company.

Ordered Sunbrella sunscreen. It arrived in a timely manner and was exactly what I ordered. The box that it came in was damaged significantly but the product was not damaged.

All was great but shipping pretty expensive for a roll of window screen.
