Excellent price and service.
I recently got all the windows (4) replaced in my 1970's maisonette. The property has relatively large windows including a very large front window with floor pane below the main window. I got 3 different quotes from 3 different companies - two national and one local (Affordable Windows).

Affordable windows quote without any time limit discounts like the other two was a LOT cheaper than the others in fact about 1/3 of the price of the most expensive (with a so-called 30% discount if I ordered straight away as a "limited special advertising deal"). While I don't doubt that some of that companies claims were true about the quality of their locks and construction I doubt they were 3x better. I decided after reading local recommendations and talking to a neighbour to go with the cheapest quote - and NOT because it was the cheapest because people seemed happy. I was later offered a 10% discount if I displayed an advertising board for the company but I didn't feel the need to take up the offer as the quote was so good.

The installation took 1 day. The two guys that fitted were friendly and courteous and cleaned up after themselves and even fixed a drainpipe for me at the same time that had come adrift at a joint.

Unfortunately one of the new units had become cracked in the corner of one pane so they reported it straight away and told me about it and reordered the part. After they left I realised they hadn't left any window keys so I contacted the company via whatsapp and got a quick response (the supplier hadn't sent them with the window catches). In general they are very responsive on the WhatsApp chat.

The two fitters then came back a week or so later with the replacement window unit and the keys and also sorted a small gap below the main big window where the lead flashing above the 70's decorative outer wall tiles had become misshapen.

The work was so neat I didn't even need to redecorate around the new windows. Very pleased with the installation and perfectly happy with the quality. It's a massive difference looking out of the modern double glazed windows compared to the 35 year old blown condensation filled double glazing with draughts around the old bent frames! Very happy!

We needed a large front room window replacing urgently. Affordable Windows came very quickly, quoted. and arrived in record time to do the job. Very pleased with their service, courtesy and after sales follow up. The price was about two thirds of what we expected, and not only did their fitters do a great job, but the windows look terrific, too.

Had new UPVC windows across my whole house plus new aluminium bi-fold door. From the initial quote, to visiting the shop to the fitting I cannot fault this company. I was very nervous as it's a big spend and your windows are for life but after having several quotes I'm so glad I went with Affordable Windows. Big shout out to Candice, was very helpful over email and the phone and of course Alex and Shannon who fitted the windows. They were very tidy, polite, kept me informed and generally just nice guys to have around for 3 days. I'm so happy with the final outcome and will be HIGHLY recommending this company to others. We were recommended this company originally and were initially pleased with the roller shutter installation to our garage back in Spring 2022.
We had a small accident in November '22 which 'bent' our guide bar to which the roller shutter was fixed into. 2 guys came out and fixed this for us quite quickly to which we were pleased. As this was our error we willingly paid for the work as it was not covered by the warranty.
We have since called Affordable Windows in Oct ' 23 as the roller shutter 'stopped' working. It went up but didn't come down. We called the company & they sent 2 guys out to which they took photos and asked 'what we did' as it didn't work.
They then sent an outrageous email stating that we 'don't look after our roller' and that we have 'cut wires' and they cannot fix it.
These statements are totally untrue and very unacceptable! We would not touch any of the kit as we thought Affordable Windows 'had our back'! This is obviously not the case and we are disgusted they would even suggest such comments!
We have now found a new company who came out straight away and fixed it on the spot!
Affordable Windows are NOT a company we would recommend!

Excellent firm. Shane was helpful and encouraging from the moment I emailed him the pictures of the hinges on my front door. A week later, he sent Dominic down with new hinges and he re-hung the door (took around 80 mins) so it now shuts like a dream and is straight. The fact I also get a guarantee is a bonus ;)

The guy who performed the repairs to my windows was very good at his job, the pricing I thought was extremely fair,but, unfortunately he was obviously being rushed to move on to another job, consequently after he left one window was left with no catch so we could not lock it, we had to do an emergency repair ourselves as no one was answering phones by the time we discovered it.

Sensible price. Prompt and efficient service. Would definitely use again.

I was very pleased to have found this company. I was treated so very well both Shane and his co-worker were efficient polite and friendly. The repair to the conservatory roof was complicated and after two days it rained very hard and a small section leaked but it took just one phone call and the problem was resolved quickly. We needed a replacement bathroom window handle and Affordable Windows arrived on the date and time agreed and replaced the handle on the spot.
