Der Treffpunkt zur Abholung hätte etwas besser beschrieben werden sollen, es hat etwas gedauert ihn ganz am Ende des Abholbereichs am SJO zu finden. Das ist allerdings der einzige Kritikpunkt, sowohl Abholung als auch Abgabe verliefen schnell und reibungslos. Das Auto war ein Chinese, hat uns aber positiv auf unseren 3,5 Wöchigen Trip überrascht. Sehr nettes Personal an der Vermietstation und das obwohl wir durch Flugverspätung erst kurz vor Schließung vorort waren.

Friendly and easy to deal with during reservation. Shuttle pick up and drop off was good. Recommend getting getting small SUV if you plan to explore off major roadways. Only down side is the rental is very expensive in Costa Rica.
There were no hidden fees with adobe.
We had our own insurance but you do have to pay 3rd party liability which was included.
Be aware of cheap prices online.

Absolut abzuraten
Absolut abzuraten, ein miserabler Laden!!!
Wir bekamen einen Hyundai Tucson mit 72000 km (!), was bei den schlechten Straßen einer Laufzeit von mindestens 200000 in Deutschland entspricht. Nach 4 Tagen hat das Auto dann je 7 Schrauben des Schutzes in den hinteren Kotflügeln abgeschüttelt und noch ein Plastikteil am vorderen Kotflügel. Die abgefallenen Schützer wollten die Verleiher zunächst auch bezahlt bekommen, was ich mit viel Druck vermeiden konnte, für das kleine Plastikteil mussten wir 300 Dollar zahlen, sonst hätten wir kein Ersatzauto bekommen = Erpressung.
Der Emailverkehr mit diesem Laden war auch eine einzige Qual, entweder KEINE Antwort oder ohne Beantwortung meiner Fragen.

Wir bedauern sehr, dass Ihre Wahrnehmung unseres Services nicht Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen hat, und möchten uns aufrichtig für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten entschuldigen.
Bezüglich der Laufleistung des Fahrzeugs gilt ein Kilometerstand in dieser Höhe in Costa Rica als völlig normal innerhalb einer aktiven Mietwagenflotte. Uns ist bewusst, dass sich Standards und Vergleichswerte von Land zu Land unterscheiden können. Wir möchten Ihnen jedoch versichern, dass dieser Kilometerstand keinerlei Risiko für die Funktionstüchtigkeit oder die Sicherheit des Fahrzeugs und seiner Insassen darstellt. Alle unsere Fahrzeuge unterliegen strengen, regelmäßigen Wartungs- und Inspektionsprogrammen.
Zu den erwähnten Schutzteilen handelt es sich um vom Hersteller vorgesehene Filz- bzw. Schutzabdeckungen. Diese Komponenten beeinträchtigen weder die Sicherheit des Fahrzeugs noch die der Passagiere. Unter bestimmten Fahrbedingungen – insbesondere in bergigem Gelände oder auf Schotterstraßen, wie sie in Costa Rica häufig vorkommen – kann es aufgrund der anspruchsvollen Straßenverhältnisse vorkommen, dass sich solche Teile lösen.
Wir danken Ihnen nochmals für Ihre Rückmeldung, da sie uns die Möglichkeit gibt, den operativen Kontext unseres Landes besser zu erläutern und gleichzeitig unsere Kommunikationsprozesse weiter zu verbessern.

We lost a lot of time at the departure at Restaurante El Ceibo because the check in was not well organize. We were the least to leave from the park. The agent was very kind and it was not his fault but our Travel agency and Adobe could think a different process. All the services during our journey were ok even when we had a trouble not for our own fault Adobe solve even if it happened January 1st. Don’t forget to choose the full insurance option. Thank Adobe Liberia and Puntarenas teams

Adobe Liberia Airport Top Notch!
We rented an SUV from Adobe through their Liberia airport site. Having rented from many agencies in various companies, we felt compelled to send our review. Our experience with Adobe was top notch. It began with the arrival at the airport, where we were greeted by the agent and delivered to the car rental site afew miles away. Entry into the office, where an agent was already assigned and waiting. We were warmly greeted and after brief but efficient paperwork, led outdoors to our waiting vehicle. The inspection had been done in advance so it was a quick review to be certain we were satisfied, and we were on our way. The little extras, affiliated with our booking agent, “My Tan Feet” included a small cooler and a Sim Card for my phone.
So very appreciated.
The car was superb throughout our stay.
Our return of the car was rapid and efficient. Paperwork and communication was very clear and seamless.
The shuttle was waiting to take us to the airport and our emailed confirmatory invoice arrived in our inbox before our short drive was complete.
We are returning to Costa Rica in early 2027 and will definitely be booking our car rental again through Adobe.
An excellent experience! Definitely 5 star performance by this Liberia staff and the Adobe company.

Since our arrival at aeroport, the transfer to the office and pick up the car it tooks only about 45 minutes. During our stay in Costa Rica, Marco and Karen always care about us, simple by send a email or a message, to know if we need something during the travel.

Autovermietung GREENMOTION Costa Rica
wir hatten über GREENMOTION bzw. adobecar ein Auto in Costa Rica gemietet. Mieten und Abgeben war absolut in problemlos. Das Auto war sehr sauber und hat gut funktioniert mit knapp 80000km auf der Uhr. Der Agent im Büro war auch bei beiden Terminen ausgesprochen freundlich und fair. Der Transfer vom Flughafen und zurück verlief schnell, zuverlässig und ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Das Einzig nicht perfekte war den Transferpunkt am Flughafen Costa Rica zu finden, das war nur mit der Hilfe eines Flughafenmitarbeiters möglich, der aber auch nachfragen musste (ein kleiner Tisch mit mehreren Anbietern unter einer Treppe).

Tient ses promesses
J'ai longuement cherché un loueur de qualité pour mon voyage au Costa Rica, écumant les forums, tant les "arnaques"/vente forcée d'assurance semblent légion dans ce pays sur la location de Voiture.
J'ai finalement opté pour Adobe car j'ai une carte de crédit incluant l'assurance CDW et que les avis indiquaient tous qu'ils ne me forceraient pas la main pour prendre leur CDW une fois sur place.
Aucun problème d'aucune sorte: ils étaient présent pour me récupérer à l'aéroport, ont été très clairs au check in sur les différents éléments du contrat, le véhicule était en très bon état et au retour, ils n'ont pas pinaillé sur l'état du véhicule et la facture a parfaitement matché avec le devis initial (~430$ pour un SUV pour 12 jours avec juste l'assurance obligatoire de responsabilité civile)
La bonne surprise: une caution de "seulement" 750$ (sans prendre l'assurance CDW) alors que je m'attendais à bien plus (2000$ - 3000$ chez la concurrence), caution qui a été libérée dès mon retour.
Je recommande donc ce loueur et n'hésiterai pas à repasser par eux lors d'un prochain voyage au Costa Rica !

Best Retal Car option in Costa Rice
Adobe has been great every time we use them in Costa Rica. Their cost is upfront including insurance wiht is required by CR government. On our recent trip we had a bad battery and within 15 minutes of contacting hrem they were there swapping out the battery. Adobe will be our go to form rentals in CR.

Excellent service at signing up and very straight forward. Clean vehicle and large vehicle used for the duration of our vacation and pricing was very comparable or better than other rental companies. My family was very satisfied with the vehicle we rented.

Everyone was great, courteous, on the ball and Polite! Had a spare tire issue (long story) they fixed it right up and switched us cars in minutes. Very helpful and made it easy and eorry free. I do recommend getting for coverage.

Worst rental car company ever. Delivered scratched car. I photographed it - then they tried to get me to register damage. Basically fraudulent.
