I bought a new washing machine after some friendly and helpful advice from the staff in the store and the delivery guys came exactly when they said they would and were extremely efficient and careful. Then to top it all Andrew came to plumb it in and was unbelievably helpful and really went the extra mile despite a very challenging and uneven floor. What a star and what great company, would thoroughly recommend.

Helpful advice by the shop staff on narrow depth washing machine options. Very good price on model selected. Great delivery and installation team - on time, very polite and efficient. I highly recommend using this local Hastings firm.

A&J meet the online retailers on price/delivery but its their customer support post sale where they are in a different, higher league. The General Manager Lorraine sets the standard and was exceptional on a recent kitchen revamp where she supplied all the major white goods. Highly recommended.

If only all retailers were like these guys.

I’ve shopped with Adams & Jarrett a few times and their service has been reliable overall. The staff are knowledgeable and the delivery is usually punctual. Installation quality is good, although I’d say the speed of service slightly varies depending on availability. Not perfect, but a solid choice for appliances.

We have bought cookers and washing machines from this company and have always appreciated the service offered.
Recently, having phoned to enquire over a problem with the rinse and spin on my washing machine while still under guarantee, I was advised that it may be an issue with using capsules on a low temperature and was instructed how to try and clear the problem. It worked! No need to call out an engineer.

I recently had a mixed experience with Adams & Jarrett. While the instore experience was positive, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, my overall satisfaction was average. The deliveries were generally timely, and the installation service was efficient. However, not all interactions matched the high expectations set by previous visits. I appreciate the prompt communication, but there's room for improvement in consistency. Despite their long-standing local presence, my latest purchase lacked the seamless process I had hoped for. Overall, a satisfactory but not exceptional experience.

Bought a fridge freezer and vacuum cleaner. Instore experience great. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Fridge freezer needed to be fitted into a very tight space. The fitter, Andrew, not only did a fantastic job of taking out the old unit (which was built in), he managed to save the built in wine rack too. Everything cleaned up afterwards and the guys came to remove the old unit promptly. Highly recommend them.

Our completely refurbished new home came with a cheaper appliances that have not lasted well. We have replaced the oven, dishwasher and, today, the washing machine with Which? recommended products. Each time, after looking at prices, we chose Adams & Jarrett.

We paid for installations, deliveries and removal of the old products. On every occasion we did not wait long for delivery. Products and installers arrived on time and gave excellent service.

Adams & Jarrett have also respond promptly and helpfully to email queries. If only all companies were as consistently reliable.

The whole experience was professional and straightforward. I like to promote local businesses and so pleased that this company has been going for many years. Service was great and Callum said he would arrange first drop off. Delivery men were careful and attentive.

Was easy to order online and within 2 days I was contacted for payment and given delivery date.
Delivery men were very helpful with emptying old freezer and stacking new one. They were also well within the estimated time of delivery.

Fantastic company. We needed to replace a washing machine urgently. Currys were hopeless with no knowledge of different machines but this shop had an expert (Ryan) who helped us choose the correct machine and they even went to the trouble of fitting us in for a next day installation. We will always use Adams and Jarrett in future.

The microwave was exactly what we wanted and was available so perfect for our needs

Ordered online, got a call within 10 minutes to arrange payment and delivery. Delivery was 2 days later and they were apologetic that that was the first available slot! Arrived within the time slot with phone call first. Removed old device and installed the new one quickly and efficiently. Have used many times over the years and wouldnt use anyone else.
