after completing the year course, i can honestly say im very happy with the experience and outcome of the course. it was extremely progressive and met all my expectations. and the services they provided extended way beyond what the course had to offer. you learn about the industry and acting and i even went to the Cannes film festival with the and had much opportunity to network with people i would have never met if it weren't for the incredible staff from the reel scene. i highly recommend it

The Actors Gym has provided me complete support as a new actor. I joined 1 year ago and have since received feedback on all of my self tapes, which has helped me to improve as an actor.
The feedback your receive is from actors, coaches and agents in the industry.
The Gym also has a jam packed calender, offering acting classes and Q&A with actors, agents and casting directors.
I am excited to see what comes next in my journey with The Actors Gym.

Great and affordable place to learn and grow as a performer

With only a short time of being a member of the actors gym, I have felt a tremendous sense of belonging and have felt greatly empowered and inspired by what they have offered. It makes me feel more confident in my creativity and in honing my skills as an actor for the future.

I pressed buy and I got it! I can't believe it is that simple nowadays!

I thought that actorgym will be more interactive and engaged with me as I need it someone to push me and not just to leave me to do most of the things by myself.
Some of us have 3 kids and trying to balance all of it.

I really value the classes and feedback, especially on the self tapes which are catered to all levels (you just input your experience level and the feedback will match that level to help you develop and grow).

I've also engaged in private one to ones which have been really helpful in identifying my growth areas to improve my success. Whenever I ask a question by email or chat, I always get really helpful replies and advice.

I'd appreciate some more pre-recorded videos which are just the tutors explaining techniques without the students practising them, but appreciate there is a lot I can learn from watching others.
The website can be a little tricky to navigate but all the material on it is great and I know that the Gym are working to improve this.

I have been loving the actors gym and what it has to offer. As an actor starting out the gym offers great industry advice and ways of getting feedback from your work. It’s a great place to ease you back into the industry.

Highly recommend the Actors Gym. There are online classes every week and if you can't make the live session, everything is recorded so you can catch up later. Good mix of acting technique, industry Q&As and workshops.

Perhaps the best element is the 2 self-tape challenges every month - a chance to practice doing self-tape auditions with feedback on both the technical quality and performance of your tape. Everyone improves as the months go on!

It's nice to be part of an acting community and helps keep you motivated and on top of your game. I've just renewed for my second year.

Not a lot there yet, but the Gym is quite new still so should improve over time.

It would be nice to see some video courses that are not Zoom recordings.
I used to be a member of StageMilk Scene Club (which is in Australia) - they had some good stuff in their Classes and Tutorials, Script Library, and many other resources.

A Facebook group would also be better for student networking, as the forums aren't as easy to use and don't give the same level of interaction.

The Actors-Gym is a great way for actors to stay sharp and also learn a lot of new skills. Feedback on self-tapes mean that you can find gaps in your work and keep improving all the time. The Actors-Gym is also very welcoming and any questions are quickly answered. The workshops allow you to learn from professionals.

I have been chartered for a second year from PayPal and have sent an email to discuss the issue however I have not revcieved a reply

The Actors Gym is a brilliant community for aspiring actors wanting insight from industry professionals to improve your acting skills. The team that run the Actors Gym are wonderfully helpful, supportive and experienced professional actors with a wealth of knowledge who I continue to learn so much from!
The workshops are brilliant as you actively get to ask TV/ Film Casting Directors and Agents questions and you can get involved in workshops to hone your skills (plus these workshops are super accessible as they are available to watch on demand.)
I was also so excited to get direct feedback on my self tapes from industry professionals! As a result of being able to send in my own self tapes, I have developed my skill in comedy / writing and wish to continue pursuing this further!
There is a definite sense of community within the actors gym amongst the aspiring actors and Team leaders. Thank you to everyone at the Actors Gym :)

the actors gym has been brilliant. Its been a great way to stay active over the past year, specially in lockdown. and its great receiving feedback on self tapes and being able to watch and participate in online classes

I’ve not long joined so I’ve not used the actors gym to it’s full potential but I’ve already learnt so much more then I thought I would and I can’t wait to see how far it takes me
