the scam me for $11 to get $8 in my paypal account
and show me (This transaction got denied, please contact Paypal.)

i contact paypal and paypal team say there is no transaction

then i go to activatesecurity.com team to say there is no transaction and i need my $11 back
then activatesecurity.com say this

this website is a scam don't but you money there

Be cautious of this scam company. If you detect a charge on your card from them, do not engage with them or provide any personal information. Immediately inform your bank about the transaction and request a new card. This scam operates globally, and I encountered it in the UAE.

This is a COMPLETE SCAM. I called the number on my credit card statement and it connected me to the billing company. I said that I never bought this product, don't even know what the product is. It isn't on my laptop and the web site takes me to the billing page. I asked to be put through to customer support. The billing person said they ARE customer support. I asked to speak to someone about the product and the billing person said they are the only contact available. I have reported this to my credit card company which is disputing the FOUR charges (my bad for not looking more closely at my statements). They have billed me $14.86 every month since April 8, 2024. It's also very worrisome that they billed the July 8th charge to my brand new account number which I only received in the mail today. How did they get my new account number before I did? BEWARE!!!!

The first I was aware of this was a £12.00 payment leaving my account. I had not consciously signed up to anything but might have checked a box a month earlier, in order to pay for something, maybe a taxi.
It's clever, looks plausible and when you search reviews, they all seem to be glowing. Except for these on Trustpilot - it seems the others are marketing puff.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. They place scam adds that are carefully designed to get people to sign up and pay thinking they are using the original site the add was placed in.

I only wanted to book a taxi.Had to activate this security thing.Didn’t get a taxi. Still taking money from my bank account.Avoid uber.Now trying to cancel transaction from my bank.

I went to log onto Uber and this company came up and looked like an Uber website. I logged in and then realized it was a different company, possibly selling a number of services as an intermediary. They took a joining fee but with no warning. I felt I was scammed.

Requested 3 times (twice verbal once on mail) they as part of my right to be forgotten deleted all my personal information.
Each time they give me the same response with they are just going to put me on the no billing list, This is not what i am requesting, and i get the feeling their customer service reps doesnt understand english at all.
They also billed me for a "free" trail period...
Its now been a month and the account is still active so yea over all something smells fishy.
