I will use them again

The issue I had with the camera in my taxi cab was quickly dealt with by a competent engineer of ACSS, very pleased with the speed of diagnostic and installation of the replacement camera. The camera is working perfectly well now. I am happy.

Terrible service Cambridge Site

Terrible service!
Do not buy CCTV from this company, they scheduled the installation and the day before they called me saying it would no longer be possible, then they scheduled it for the next day and there was a delay of an hour and a half!
The garage that did the installation is terrible! In less than a month it is no longer working as it should and I will waste more time going there to check it!

Please avoid this company if you can.

Please avoid this company. They installed CCTV in my car. The installation they make they over load circuit. I got full raptor from VW service. They push full for different reasons. I take them to court.💪 unfortunately they are liars no one has contacted me and no one wants to solve this problem

I booked the installation at Cambridge…

I booked the installation at Cambridge CB22 3FJ. The location is difficult to find.
My booking is 10:00A.M. and the completion time is 16:30pm. Which is unexpected for a 6 hours installation time.
My portable electric air compressor disappeared from the car boot after installation.

After admitting to installing a ghost switch in the vehicle and admitting that it had cost me 2 days of earnings in my taxi I was told that if I wanted compensation I should ask my insurance company to deal with the problem and provide evidence that it was definitely acss installation engineers fault or just go away, they pretended to be customer friendly but made it clear that they didn’t care less even though a customer or myself could have been harmed or injured or falsely accused due to the fact that they had pretended to install the system and had not done it correctly absolutely discussing service and should not be recommended by any council or company and any legal company should never trust them!

Response Time: We responded to your issue within the council's prescribed time of 48 hours, specifically within 12 hours. We understand the importance of a functional system for your operations and acted swiftly to address your concerns.

Maintenance Responsibility: According to council policy, it is the driver's responsibility to ensure that their system is maintained and kept up to standard. Unfortunately, the delay in maintenance on your part led to the failure of your MOT. Despite this, we took immediate steps to rectify the audio issue you reported and ensured a speedy recovery without additional charges as a gesture of goodwill.

Evidence and Investigation: We conducted a thorough investigation into your claim. There was no substantial evidence provided that indicated the installation of a ghost switch or any fault on our part. The image of a button you presented did not demonstrate any improper installation or malfunction attributable to our services.

Surreal bad experience

The Romanian electrician responsible for my dashcam installation was extremely rude without any reason. I politely asked two questions: if the installation was safe and if there was a warranty. In just two minutes, he responded, “You are asking too many questions, I will not install it,” and then disappeared!

Later, I discovered that he had a bad experience with other customers a few days ago, and he decided to take out his frustration on me. The day before, I had paid in full for the service, so I returned to the reception to request a refund. The garage owner rudely asked, “Do you want it or not?!”

He expected me to beg for the service, but I insisted on a refund and mentioned I would go to a different garage. At that point, he completely changed his tone, trying to persuade me to stay. What a surreal experience. Have I gone insane, or is the world going mad???

CCTV for Cambridge taxis is the best system and support plus very quick response for any issue with CCTV to keep you driving and they have now local garage for support you can drop at the garage without appointment to get issue solved on the spot

Excellent tech support

Excellent tech support. I had an issue with my dash-cam system. I phoned tech support and dealt with Dennis Nlemadim who was very helpful. I’m not the most technical of people. Dennis was very patient and took the time to sort the issue for me but also to show me how to sort it for myself in the future. I recommend this company and Dennis if you need tech support. Thanks guys!!

My only two quibbles are :
Installer could have asked where on the passenger windows I would like the cctv decals placed ( and not were I intended to place the table of fares chart ) and also it wasn't clear that the total price was £460 plus tax. I was recommended by other drivers to use this company and I'll do likewise.
