Due to a change at work I wasn't able to attend in person. I was sent a link to the webinar and was able to watch this in my own time- thank you! What was missing was a copy of the slides which wer... Leggi di più
Really useful session with practical examples. I'm sure I'll revisit the support materials again. Only downside was the quality of the audio which stuttered and broke up throughout the session.

Didn't find them helpful at all
Didn't find them helpful at all. My employer is being shade about holiday pay won't tell me how much I have left. I have read all the general advice and researched in depth regarding it but needed someone to advice tailored to my specific query but they refused. I even cried on the phone due to exhaustion on the matter but no help just send me again general information via email that I can access myself online which is not useful. Very poor service

Excellent free webinars – ACAS is a hidden gem
I've never paid for an ACAS webinar – I've only ever attended their free ones – and honestly, they're brilliant.
As an independent UK government body, ACAS could easily give dry, jargon-heavy presentations. But their free webinars are practical, engaging, and genuinely useful for anyone who manages people or works in HR.
I've watched sessions on flexible working, conflict resolution, absence management, and disciplinary basics. Each one includes real-world examples, clear dos and don'ts, and a chance to ask questions. The facilitators are neutral experts (not selling anything), and you walk away with actual takeaways you can use the next day.
Yes, popular sessions fill up weeks in advance, and a few slides are text-heavy – but for the price of £0, that's a tiny quibble.
If you're a manager, team leader, or employee rep, bookmark ACAS's free webinar page. You'll wonder why more organisations don't deliver this kind of quality for free.
Top tip: Sign up for their email alerts so you don't miss the good ones filling up.
Sickness absence - supporting your staff
The webinar on managing sickness At Workwas well organised and the presenter was very clear and it was useful to have the narrative on the screen as it was spoken. The information was clear and useful, I particularly like the use of polls and the prompt feedback on the response is given by the participants. Good information sharing in the chat tracker thank you. I would recommend and be happy to attend any future event events that were hosted and will keep my eyes peeled for various topics and Hope to attend.
Disappointing experience with acas
Disappointing experience with acas. A shockingly low knowledge of laws and legal rights despite being a legal process. The conciliator I had could barely string a consistent conversation let alone recite any form of employment law and had put me off a case I could likely have won using basic research. Wont bother in the future
Acas training is excellent
Acas training is excellent. Their webinars on aspects of employment law are usually free, really good quality and backed up by extra resources.
Good for employers, employees and union Reps and officials.
Not great experience
The content itself was fine, but the delivery wasn’t very engaging. I also wasn’t sure whether the presenter was a real person or AI, which made the experience feel less authentic.
I’ve attended training sessions from other providers that felt much more professional in comparison. In this case, the content was largely just read aloud, and I could have easily read through the material myself.
Well presented, Clear and easy to understand.
Great company ,well presented, Clear and easy to understand,
I think ALL employees should always know about ACAS in their contract. what it can do for them and can be accessed for free and easily.
Good Informative training
Well presented and informative with good advice.

While I have found their services very helpful in the past - when I recently called for some advice the lady I spoke to was very dismissive and abrupt. Asked questions in a condescending manner.
Absolutely fantastic training
Absolutely fantastic training on Unlocking Potential: Recruiting for Neurodiversity. Some truly excellent and informative speakers and a lot of practical advice on how to improve our recruitment processes to make it more accessible to Neurodivergent candidates. Highly recommended.
Neuroinclusion by design
I attended Neuroinclusion by design online training. It was a useful insight into the experiences staff who have a neurodivergence. The Q & A running concurrently was very useful. The only thing that made it less useful was that it was rather ad hoc and relied on the presenters who talked only, not any formal overview of employers' responsibilities. There was no opportunity for discussion - it was two very long presentations which could have been more concise.
Get your Certificate. my nose runs faster than ACAS
I waited two months from applying for help. during this time i had a single call from a somewhat grumpy woman. i dismissed this and waited. i got the distinct feeling that no interest was shown and with less than one month to go decided to look into ACAS other than reviews. I have immediately asked for my certificate and applied to a tribunal myself. I see no reason for mediation with ACAS. apply. get your certificate. pursue actions yourself. This company isn't going to help you. all you need is the certificate to follow process. gather your letters and evidence yourself. apply for a tribunal online. approach citizens advice.(walk in on a Tuesday) get some ideas and help with putting your paper work together. leave ACAS in the distant past. thanks for the certificate. rest was a waste of my time.
Learning about something that was just…
Learning about something that was just a word used and having real life experiences attached to the word with workable thought processes.
