Would be zero if allowed shocking and disgusting service booked a scooter to pick up Thursday to Tuesday over the bank holiday weekend got there no scooter told yes it’s booked but not here I had to ask where is it he said I don’t know I asked him to find out he rang somebody who said it’s out for a service I asked when it would be here he said might be 3 to 4 hours I informed him of our time critical journey to Silverstone for appointments booked for grandkids I asked him to ring again still no joy
The outcome was that a disabled lady was forced to walk all weekend due to no scooter this is disgusting service all the apologies cannot help with severe pain suffered

I had a problem with our 15 month old stairlift, in that there was no response from it at the top of the stairs. I called the 24 hour help line at 7.45 in the morning to report the fault and received a call from an engineer at 8.00am to talk through the fault. He advised that he would be with me at 9.00am (and was spot on time). The fault was rectified and I was able to move my wife downstairs by 9.30am. Excellent response from Ableworld and the engineer (Chris). Thankyou.

Being uncertain about mobility scooters and my needs my first visit was to explore the possibilities. Paul was both understanding and patient and gave me helpful information to go home and think it over. There was no pressure to buy . A few days later I returned with one of my sons. Paul was most helpful again and demonstrated the model which he advised best suited my needs, then encouraged me to try it out in the large car park. The result was that the S425 was delivered to my home yesterday by Paul who refreshed my memory about the scooter's controls, charging etc. Today I ventured out on it for the first time and was delighted by the experience. Paul's advice and tips made it a really good experience giving me confidence for future use. Thank you Paul.

I bought a new scooter from you for my mother back in September 2021 and after minimum usage we encountered problems with the battery draining and sometimes even just stopping on a full charge leaving my mother stranded and unable to get home from the shop.
Twice I had to rescue her.
We reported this around a month from purchase and after it was sent away for testing we ( or my mother to be exact) were told there is nothing that you could find wrong with the battery.
It was basically turned around on us and suggested that it is the way the battery is being charged that would be the most likely cause.
We got the scooter back and tried again.
My mother would tell me every few weeks that she did not feel it was any better.
I told her (wrongly) to keep persevering but AGAIN last month I had to rescue her after the scooter stopped working quite a distance from home.
My mother has chronic COPD and her being left stranded is leaving her feeling very anxious about going back out on the scooter for fear I may not be able to get her if it happens again.
So we sent the scooter back in and now low and behold both batteries has failed.
BUT ITS OAST THE WARRANTY OERIOD SO YOU HAVE TO OAY FOR A NEW 1!!!
I understand that it is past the warranty period for the battery but with respect we reported this a month from purchase and have had issues ever since.
I spoke to a lady in customer services who again was only interested in quoting the warranty period.😡
I know what the warranty period is but I do not believe that our issues after month 1 and the failure now are not related.
The replacement is only around £80 which is not a huge amount of money and to quibble with customers and turn it back on them who have legitimate concerns is poor service on every level.
We bought a new battery after all this and I am now writing this review 9 month later and the same has happened again.
Now apparently the battier it’s are only under warranty for 6 months this time and again it must be the way we are charging it.
Disgusted isn’t the word.

Wife broke 5 vertebrae in her back in march so we from medi care a walker for to help help get around. At that time I was due to have a hip op so my wife was a bit worried that I might struggle walking so she asked the daughter in-law if could find one for us they saw one in able world for £75 for us we had this walker for exactly 7 months when the brake cable broke we phoned able world up and they arranged for us to take Into there shop so their fitter could take to their repair centre we never heard anything for a week or so we decided to phone them up and couldn't believe what they were saying they said the brake wire was rusted completely through and that's why it broke next thing they said to my is you must of had in the shower or left it out in the rain we challenged what the fitter was saying explaining that my wife had broken her vertebrae and was unable to go out at all and that the walker has never been used outside nor could my wife of taken it into the shower as there is a good six to eight inch step to negotiate to get into the shower my wife couldn't get into the shower because of that fact yet this fitter has accused my wife of taken it in the shower she is not able to lift anything because of the damage caused to her back and is in constant pain since March even their customers service staff have more or less accused my wife of causing the problem and refuse to accept that it had to be a factory fault they claimed to inspect everything they receive well they've certainly must of been a sleep when they unpacked this one and as for ourselves we find it really hard to see how water could enter into the brake cable unless it was put in by operator at the factory
I am totally discussed with able world and the fact they are us that we lied if was possible I would rate them with a minus review

Alan fixed my flat tyre on my mobility scooter today. He was absolutely brilliant. He had me in stitches while he worked. He's a real character and very friendly. He also made sure all the other tyres were at the correct pressure. Great job🛴👍Thanks Alan.

I contacted Ableworld to arrange a visit by them to my Mother who has recently moved into a residential home. Donna was very helpful in identifying a product which would fit Mum's needs and made arrangements for the visit to take place within 48 hours. On he day Paul and Mark arrived at the agreed time and were very efficient, professional and friendly.
They spent time carefully adjusting the product to suit Mum' height and ensured all was correct. They then thoroughly demonstrated how to use the product. No pressure was applied to try and clinch a sale. An excellent experience from start to finish, credit where it is due and the product was purchased. Mum loves it.Thank you!

Took my father in law to browse and the manager was courteous, patient, honest and extremely knowledgeable. Nothing was to much trouble and he explained in detail every question that he was posted. Would highly recommend a visit
