A stairlift was removed as the user was deceased. We were told there would be a buy back fee of £125.
The person who removed the stairlift confirmed this as did a lady on the phone a few days later. However the amount paid was £100. When i phoned to ask why i was told that the person who took it out said there was a mark on it. I was there when he took it out and he said nothing. I phoned Ableworld on the Crewe number we had used for all dealings and a lady said she would ring back in 2 hours, 3 days later i am still waiting.
Very poor afterservice so be aware if thinking of using them

I attended crewe ableworld to purchase a boot scooter. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I explained my needs and they helped me select the right scooter and take it for a test run. They also showed me how to assemble/disassemble the scooter. Throughout, the visit was informative and pleasant.

I have just dropped off a jiffy M4 manual fold scooter which was purchased on the 4th of December for £1299. I’ve just been into the Crewe store to return said scooter of which I am aware is over the two weeks, but the battery is not holding charge as advertised therefore I am protected under warranty for 28days. We have only been round our local towns which wouldn’t even amount to 2 miles on a full charge and it quickly drops to the red giving my husband anxiety as he is unable to walk long distances. Due to this he and myself have lost all faith and trust in the scooter moving forward, It is not fit for purpose.
As soon as Crewe staff saw me come in with a scooter I have to say they were extremely abrasive, rude and unhelpful stating all they can do is send it off to an engineer. I’m not happy with this because I don’t want it back as it’s not fit for purpose. I’ve got a husband that could get stranded and he’s unable to walk if the battery runs out on me, your website says you will take a return up to 28 days if still under warranty.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers may be entitled to a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where goods are faulty or not as described
The Act also states that if there is a problem with a product or service within 30 days of purchase, you can ask for a full refund.
It also clearly states how it is illegal to display any signage which was shown to us both stating refunds or returns were not accepted, quite proudly by your staff, at the Crewe Store.

Phoned Ableworld Crewe for some wheelchair advice for my elderly mother and then went into store in Crewe following the advice given where Natalie gave real valued advice about the best type of lightweight wheelchair that would be most suited for my mother with the ailments she suffers especially in regards to her curvature of the spine condition. The choice of chair offered to best suit her needs was really good and trialling it in the shop was so much better than simply ordering online so the advice given by Natalie was very much appreciated and assisted us greatly when making the purchase. Great customer service and great professional advice would highly recommend going in store when making such an important decision on purchasing a wheelchair and speaking to the people who know the best type of products to recommend.

We were in serious trouble if Mum couldn't go upstairs to bed and the loo. Paula at the Crewe branch couldn't do enough to help us when our Mums stair lift wouldn't work after being in hospital. Even though it was very late in the day, Paula arranged technical help for us, which got the stairlift working. As a customer we felt as though we really mattered with the aftersales. Paula is a credit to the Ableworld team. THANK YOU. Highly recommend the Ableworld Crewe. ALSO Sharon in Ableworld Nantwich Head Office stair lift team providing invaluable caring tenacious technical advice, which got the stair lift going once more despite being very late. We were truly valued as customers

Purchased a Wheelchair yesterday in Crewe for my husband. Karen and Natalie were amazing fantastic advice and support helped to ease our feelings of having to move to a Wheelchair. Very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. We would recommend going to the Crewe store. Thank you ladies.

Bought a power chair and thee guys were fantastic. My mother whom the chair was for suffers from anxiety and the two staff that brought the chair to us to demonstrate were absolutely wonderful, they were Carl and Reagan , I can not explain how helpful they were, polite,friendly and extremely helpful. My mother was more than happy to get in and try in ,they really put her mind at rest . Can’t rate them high enough. Thank you Carl and Reagan

I was looking to buy a wheelchair for a relative so I visited Crewe Ableworld to discuss the options before taking my relative to try them out. The knowledge and experience of the staff was excellent. There was no pressure to buy, it just felt like they wanted us to have the most suitable product for our requirements. Shout out to Natalie who served us and couldn't have been more helpful. What a great shop.

I bought a riser/recliner chair from Ableworld in Crewe. The sales person was very professional, patient with me. I tried out a few electric chairs and the sales person explained all the features of each chair. He had good knowledge of each chair. When I found the chair most suited for my needs, we went through in detail the benefits of this particular chair, how it works etc.
Doing the paperwork was quick and easy. The chair was delivered to me the next day.

Lou & Mollie arrived promptly on Monday to deliver & install Mum's new bespoke Rise & Recline chair. They set everything up without fuss, explaining all the controls simply through a guided demo with Mum in situ. I was also most grateful for all their help to re-establish & relocate the rest of the furniture that Dad had moved to make space for the new chair. A job very well done in under an hour - thank you ladies!

I telephoned to ask if a specific wheelchair was in stock and Natalie explained that there was none left of that size in any stores. She checked all stores for the larger size and found there to be 3 at other stores. She managed to transfer one to the Crewe store. Natalie telephoned me to say it had come into stock and I arranged to take my Mum to try it out. It was perfect for her. Natalie altered the height of the foot rest which made all the difference. Amazing customer service. Natalie is excellent! She is friendly, very helpful and went the extra mile to help me. Thank you.

We bought a custom built chair from ableworld which broke 17 months later, we had a reply to say that we had put force on the footrest and damaged the mechanism of the chair, we totally disagreed with the outcome and was told we would have to pay £902 to have the chair repaired, we disagreed and the chair was sent to the manufacturers, the manufacturers have now sent the chair to the mechanism manufacturers.This as taken 5 weeks upto now and my partner who is paralysed from the waist down as had to be bedbound which is affecting his mental health and he has also had a chest infection. We contacted Paul Rowlands a week ago with no reply, we have contacted the store again to be told he will contact us but is busy doing interviews and other stuff while my partner is having to stay in bed. Great service for people with disabilities.
