Excellent trainer, very informative patient handling trainer course, good knowledge.

Trainer was brilliant and interacted well with all the class on the First Aid Trainer course. Had a great 3 days. Would advise to others to give it a go.

Alex was approachable and interacted with everyone on the Manual Handling Trainer course and made everyone engage.

On the Manual Handling Trainer Course spoke clearly, well explained everything and had jokes.

Not had a really good experience in COSHH Assessor Course but yes it add a lot of information and straight to the point.

On COSHH Assessor Course in Glasgow peter was brilliant keeping everyone engaged making the session more enjoyable as well as informative.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. Booked a course, needed to move it, asked for a refund and was assured it would be processed. Still haven't got my money back after a year of asking. No response to emails.

A dreadful company that gives zero care for their clients. I was booked on a course for May 2023 which they switched without notice to zoom and expected me to have the final day in Manchester (I live in Cardiff and booked an in person course in Cardiff). I re-scheduled for August and had to chase up only being notified the course would happen 6 days prior and then three days prior they cancelled due to family bereavement and shifted the dates and again made a day into a zoom session. Money returned after threat of court action and I still reserve the right to pursue my losses via a small claim. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Update: In response to Pauls response... still no apology from Abertay, no acceptance that businesses suffer losses when courses are cancelled and quite shockingly Paul attempts to paint Wales Outdoors as the wrongdoer in this. Had Paul accepted poor management of the courses calendar, as outlined in my original review, all backed up by the email trail, then I may have considered removing the review. But he did not. He doubled down and continues to accept no responsibility for my business's disruption and losses associated with his poor admin, his unacceptable changing of the course delivery and poor communication throughout the course onboarding process.

Having paid for our nurse to attend first aid course, they cancelled the course 2 days prior and have then failed to send money back. Please beware.

Purchased two courses with them with a discount for a second course. One of the courses got postponed. On the day when it was supposed to happen there wasn't any communication that it wasn't going ahead. When asked for a refund they have taken the discount away although it was their fault that the second course has not taken place (twice). Still waiting for a refund two months later.

In regards to the training facilities: small, uncomfortable room with no ventilation of any kind. Tutor experience: not a confident delivery, confusing and contadicting information, very outdated power point.

Would not recommend and would deffinately not use again myself. An unpleasant and uprofessional experience from start to finish.

Linda was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, she ensured everyone had the opportunity to be involved in the training.
