Purchased a Abbyson sectional from BJs…Look at other options.

Purchased a Abbyson section from BJs with a regular price of $1800. Having deeper seat cushions the back support is critical to comfort. So, we had the coach for about 4 months and already, I can no longer sit on the end seat of the sectional. Sitting there puts you in an uncomfortable angle due to cushion sag. ( not covered by the warranty according to literature) That cushion is now flat were as the others have a nice rounded look. Bottom line, out of the boxes, its a nice looking piece but a for duability I'm afraid - You Will be Disappointed.

Leather Won’t Last!

I have been buying furniture for decades and never experienced such horrible customer service. Even sending them photos of my sectional cushions, where the leather finish is simply wearing away, they do not feel responsible for their own product AND YAVE REFUSED to do anything to rectify the situation. They refused to replace one center cushion and then every single cushion is old and WORN looking after LESS than a year. (even the ones where nobody sits!)

POOR quality. Buyer BEWARE: Their leather is NOT made to last. I have an entire sectional that is embarrassing to me and definitely NOT worth the money. Yes, leather is meant to age and patina as it gets older -NOT completely wear away!

had extended warranty

had extended warranty, found my power couch at the Brick. motor died 2 weeks before the warranty was going expire. brick said it was discontinued. got a hold of Abbyson, said they could do nothing cause it was sold from a unauthorized 3 party. WTF. so now it will go on market place (facebook) we are older and not handy. it’s only 5 years old. loved it til this $hit went down.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. Bought a power reclining loveseat 25 months ago ($1350). I called about a metal piece that broke on the reclining apparatus and was told it was out of warranty. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the request was denied. I was given a number for service on the recliner. When I called they informed me they have not serviced my state in 6 years and they only do warranty work.

Scam of a company

Scam of a company. Ordered a sectional then received notification from the freight carrier that they were holding the items because Abbyson had not paid them. I called Abbyson and they lied telling me that the issue was with their systems. Customer service was not helpful at all. I expected more since they are a vendor for Costco but I was wrong.

Do not purchase from this company

I purchased a leather chair from this company a little over a year ago. It started falling apart a few months in, but last night, the piece that you pull to recline broke off completely. I emailed them and explained what happened, and included my receipt which also included proof of the extended 3 year warranty that I purchased. Jennifer responded that I my warranty had run out and attached a link to the attachment I can purchase on Amazon and fix it myself. I immediately responded, stating that I had purchased the extended warranty and included a screenshot for proof. No response yet. I am really disappointed. I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. Very dishonest company that produces shoddy products.

There price tag is…

There price tag is overwhelming,recently I bought outdoor sofa set which is approximately 4100 more for a 3 piece set, costco had 7 piece set for 2999.They refused to price match it.Bad experience never recommend or going back.

bought all of there outdoor furniture, they claim it uses a sunbrella material all of the cushions they used looks beat up when you call and ask to speak to a manager there happens to be only one manager who never happens to be in and ofcourse never calls you back. they wont refund they wont replace, customer service is extremely pool steer clear this company wont lat long

Sofa leg broke in a few months

Bought my sofa and the leg broke in just a few months. Contacted them and was told that the sofa is final sale and has no warranty. Who would expect the sofa to break in just a few months? This is definitely the worst ever sofa that I have bought. No way I would buy anything from them ever.

Loveseat arm collapsed after (12)…

Loveseat arm collapsed after (12) months of occasional use in summer home. Abbyson will not assist, telling me the warranty expired last week. Cheap price, cheap furniture, you get what you pay for. Buyer beware!!

A Disappointing Experience

I recently purchased a leather sofa from Abbyson and I regret to say that it was not at all what I had expected. Not only was the quality and the design of the sofa far below the standards I anticipated, but my experience with the company's customer service left much to be desired.

Firstly, the sofa I received did not meet the quality and durability that one would associate with a leather product. It was a disappointment and certainly not worth the price I paid for it. The other customers mentioned the same issue and low quality on the Costco website for the same product as well.

Secondly, my concerns were further compounded by the company's customer service. When I reached out to address my dissatisfaction , I encountered a delay of 60 days before I received any response. After waiting for 60 days, a so-called expert who was entrusted by Abbyson came to assess the issue. He concluded that the sofa had a design flaw from the manufacturer's end and there was nothing he could do to rectify it.

My intention in sharing this review is not to discourage potential customers from considering Abbyson, but rather to shed light on the challenges I faced. I believe it's essential for prospective buyers to be aware of the possible issues they might encounter with the product and the company's return policy.

In light of my experience, I would advise potential customers to carefully evaluate their purchases and be aware of the company's return policies. Ensure that your expectations align with the product and the support you may receive in case of any issues.

Leather recliner broke after 2 months

Very dissatisfied that this $1300 leather recliner. It has broken after two months!! They sent their technician out who said they would order a replacement part. About a month later I hear via email that will not fix it so now we are stuck with a chair we can’t use! !!!! Will NEVER buy anything with this company name again!! Disgusting customer service!!

Sectional Leather Peeling

Purchased a sectional, sofa and chair from them in July 2022. The sofa now squeaks when you lay against one side and the sectional “leather” is peeling. I tried to contact them, sent pictures/videos and they don’t respond. Beware. My last “leather” sofa peeled too from them after a couple years. Honestly I thought it was a fluke. I will not make this mistake again.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. I wish I had read these reviews. I bought a chair for my 92 year old father for Christmas in December of 2022. 4 months later the leather started coming off the chair. They told me they had to send a technician to my home to see if the chair could be fixed. They said if the technician's report said it could not, they would send me a new chair. Their expert and "ethical technician as they called him" came to my home dressed in jeans, t shirt, dirty sneaker and his equipment in a Target bag. He told me if he painted it, it would just come off due to where the "leather" was coming off. He said I needed a new seat to the chair and that was his recommendation. He said he'd never seen anything like it, that it was defective. I then get an email 2 days from Abbyson telling me it was from normal wear and tear and I was not getting a new chair. When I called and spoke to Jennifer and I was told the technician's report said it was FROM THE OILS IN MY FATHER'S LEGS! MY FATHER DOES NOT WEAR SHORT AND HE WEARS FLANNEL LINED JEANS BECAUSE HE'S ALWAYS COLD. But she stayed with the story, the oil from my father's legs caused the leather to come off. But here is the best part.
THEY KNOWINGLY SENT THE TECHICIAN TO MY HOME TO ISSUE A BIASED ASSESSMENT WHEN THE RECLINER I ORDER HAD BEEN DISCONTINED. THERE WAS NO CHAIR TO SEND. WHEN I CONFRONTED JENNIFER, SHE TOLD ME YES, THE CHAIR WAS DISCONTINUED AND EVEN IF THEY HAD A CHAIR, IF THEY SENT ME ANOTHER ONE," WHAT IF WORD GOT OUT" THEY SENT ME A NEW CHAIR, "THEN EVERY ONE WOULD WANT THEM TO DO THAT". STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET A CALL FROM AN ACCOUNT MANAGER LAST MONDAY, I AM STILL WAITING AND WHEN I CALL, MY CALLS ARE CONVENIENTLY DROPPED. (MORE LIKE HUNG UP ON!)

I bought their outdoor Santino…

I bought their outdoor Santino collection. 4 chases and all their outdoor couches. This company has the worst customer service and straight up lies. The furniture is not mildew resistant and is now ruined. Abbyson said they would replace them and made me run through hoops and now have not returned my emails or when I call give me the run around. They are not good people, scam of a company and I advise you not to buy from them as they will tell you lies and advertise lies as well. DO NOT TRUST ABBYSON….

Abbyson basically accused me of theft

Abbyson basically accused me of theft. I purchased two chairs; one arrived damaged, so I returned both—needed matching chairs. They utilize (and force the customer to utilize) FragilePak, another poorly-rated company for shipping and returns. I was told only one chair was delivered, then told neither chair was returned, then told only chair was returned. None of it made sense, but I suppose whatever avoided issuing a return. The website and policies are all smoke and mirrors. Customer service is a joke and blames the customer. Buy elsewhere.
