While the app has been reliable in the past, this year (2024) I experienced an issue. It estimated a refund of approximately €2,500, but I received only €1,053. I’m unsure why there was such a significant difference.

I have been using the Aangifte app for 3 years now, and I can honestly say it has been a great experience from the very beginning. Through the app, you can easily file your Dutch income tax return and also apply for healthcare allowance (zorgtoeslag), which is a big advantage for people working in the Netherlands.

Porażka. Pieniądze wzieli zwrotu nie dostałem do tej pory. Nic z podatku, nie wspomnę o opłacie za usługę.

I needed to fill an M Form tax return for 2019. The Dutch tax authorities didn't allow online filling for this year for whatever reasons (they like to complicate things).

As I needed help I approached several Dutch tax return companies like blue umbrella and expat taxes etc and the quotes I was given were all in the region of 300-400€ which I found excessive for 20 minutes of work.

Thankfully I was able to find this app/website and the cost was below 50€ and the process completely automated and it did work as I was able to get my return.

The only downside is that when I filled the return on the Dutch beladienst site I got a return for 2300€ but with this process I only got 1200€ not quite sure why was that but since the process is automated I take it it was done properly
