A bespoke holiday of a lifetime
This was our first trip back to India after 60 years. Aahilya Holidays were recommended to us and they didn't disappoint. We made our own way to Delhi and were met by a representative and taken to our hotel. Our tour was bespoke to us. It included, Agra and Jaipur by air-conditioned car. We then flew to Udaipur, Goa and Mumbai. Everything was organised by Anup and his team. The Guides were all experienced, spoke English and were extremely knowledgeable.
Our hotels were all fabulous and very clean. Every detail was taken care of and we were looked after all the way.
It was a holiday of a lifetime. Thank you Anup and all your team.

Hornbill Festival and Textiles of North East India
Just returned from a textiles tour of North East India. The trip was well-organised from the back-office administration to the day-to-day resolution of issues by Richa who accompanied us. There was a lot of ground to cover, but outside of Kolkata we were in comfortable, clean, air-conditioned cars which made the travelling acceptable. Some hotels were more pleasant than others, but we were well off the tourist track, so that's to be expected. I am very lucky to have travelled with a group of like-minded ladies.

A fantastic holiday
A fantastic holiday - excellent itinerary and facilitated throughout by Richa our company guide and Shuva and Uday our local guides, not forgetting Helen, our English coordinator whose passion and enthusiasm kept us all engaged. A lovely trip with Jonny Dredge
A lovely trip with Jonny Dredge and Isha visiting unique beautiful places hidden away from the busy life in Mumbai, Jaipur, Agra, Lucknow and Varanasi.
A photographer’s heaven! Faces, families and fun. Excellent food and splendid hotels. Comfortable travel , the first time I had been on a train in India!
Full of emotion on the Ganges at dawn remembering people no longer with us……candles floating by.
I’m looking forward to another trip next year.

There are not enough words to describe this Himalayan tour. Great cities, excellent sights, and wow! Highly highly organized. Everything ran like clock work with no hiccups. This is my first tour. Isha and her team are exceptional.

Fabric and photography in India
All the arrangements worked perfectly.
Communication was clear and efficient.
All the hotels and transport were clean, safe and high quality. Several hotels had pools that were clean and safe.
The itinerary was good with lots of activities.
All the drivers and guides were excellent, safe and informative.
All the workshops were fascinating and enjoyable.
All the sights were interesting and photogenic.
The photography and fabric aspects of the trip were achieved.
The hosts from India and UK were all sociable, friendly, helpful and informative.
Over all I cannot find fault with any aspect of the holiday. (Except the pollution.)
The other people in the group were lovely and of a similar mindset.
Overall the holiday was a wonderful and enriching trip. I’d love to do another trip with Aahilya Holidays and would recommend this holiday and this company to others. The trip was good value for money. Thank you to the Aahilya team for this fabulous experience! 😊

Golden Triangle Tour
I've just returned from a wonderful trip to India, my first to the country. It was so well organised by Aahilya Holidays with unexpected little extras thrown in. Isha and Richa, were excellent, confident guides. There was fun, laughter and reassurance every day. I would highly recommend this company for lone travellers, as - most of our group were. The activities were varied, with true artisans, well planned and so enjoyable. The sightseeing was varied, from the beauty and serenity of the Taj Mahal to the streets of Delhi. I felt I saw 'real life' India and would certainly consider another trip with Aahilya Holidays.

Craft and Cultural Tour of the Golden Triangle - India
For a first trip to India I felt very privileged and cared for by Aahilya Holidays. A great team who ensured everything is taken care of, right down to receiving little water bottle carriers and bags that had hand sanitizer, notepad and pen inside.
Our first stay was at the Maidens, a colonial hotel of grandeur and elegance followed by a super stay at MeghiNiwas.
Each day of tours and workshops, included in the price of the holiday, were supported by local, well informed guides and artisans who wanted to share all their knowledge and abilities.
So enjoyed didn't want to come home and now want to go back and do another tour.

The Golden Triangle
This was the second trip I have enjoyed with Aahilya.
The organisation and content of the holiday was excellent, hotels of the highest standard, days packed with experiences that gave a real taste of the culture whilst feeling safe, cared for and included. The guides were both knowledgeable and supportive and I would highly recommend Aahilya to other solo travellers.

Curated Unique Experience
These unique trips are well orchestrated and catered to the wants and interests of the group. They are intentionally small and centered around the arts and culture of the country/ countries we visit. The accommodations were all excellent and well appointed, thought (by AH) has gone into choosing the hotels and the restaurants. There were some physically demanding activities and, while they were listed in the itinerary, greater warning [prior to travel] and/or a Plan B would have been ideal.
