A year of experience; in a nutshell.
I used to work at 4Slash (full-time) for like a year or more.
Pros:
Very flexible and casual work experience. If you have the drive and initiative, you can be as successful as you want and have complete autonomy. The learning opportunities are great, you work with amazing people from around different platforms and department of IT, graphic design, animation industry (and the list might go on and on). You get to work and interact with one of the the best business leader I have ever came across. New management rules are driving many changes that will take them to the next level.
Cons:
If you are not okay with learning new skills, helping fellow mates and letting things go when it matters; you will struggle. People don't work here for the pay, but the overall benefits such as learning and growing.
Advice to Management:
Identify those who are talented, driven and hard working and take them seriously.
